  • 4 1/2 lbs off at 1st WI tonight! I love EE!!

Have stuffed myself tonight though. I made blind scouse - and a very odd mix it was too. Off to bed now but will catch up in morning x
  • :grouphug: :grouphug: Dodgy hugs all round... you are all wonderful xx thanks xx

SC - cracker?! - you're a nutter... :D (and yes, it made me smile!)

I have had a very long chat with OH over dinner tonight... and we have analysed the SW plan that we follow, its strengths, its weaknesses and why we don't think it is working (quickly) for us.. (I used to teach food and nutrition, and occasionally have been known to over analyse these things  )

anyhoooo, we have decided that there are a couple of paths that I (we) could follow.. either, we keep going as we are, and I will eventually hit target (7lb away) hmmmmm sometime in the summer/autumn etc  or, instead..

    (deep breath) ..

we will give ourselves a time limit of a month to lose 7lb and get to target - we have decided to 'go on a diet' ie, we will follow SW but at its simplest level. Call it what you will, but it will be a cross between sucess express (2/3 superfree), fast forward (the only time I have ever had a major loss - I lost 6lb in a week) and EE, but with the emphasis on simple, straightforward food with HUGE amount of superfree foods.

We will be shifting our attitude - for one month, this will not be a 'plan for life' (that's what I am doing now - that will work, but I need to be at a lower weight first) -this will be a weight loss diet. I need to limit my diet for a bit, I need salads and stir frys and simple, filling, veg based super free, super speed foods.

If this works .. we are looking at a BLOW OUT valentines supper ... :heartpuls  :heartpuls

welcome to my valentines challenge :D

Yes, I think some people freeze them to eat them like ice-cream!

I do, in the summer, all the time! They taste really nice, just like ice cream!

Daily eating plan Good morning everyone, thick thick fog here today - hope it clears away cause I have to take Charlie to the groomers this morning and that trip includes traversing the M25 plus some narrow country lanes! Please let the sun come out!

Here is my eating plan - EE again. I have stuck to my plans pretty good this week so far. I always eat everything on the plan, it is just the extras in the evenings that do me in!:D

Breakfast - egg, bacon & leftover mash fried with onion, 1 tblsp ev olive oil (free, free, heb)

Lunch - Homemade leek and potato soup (free) - may also have SW chilli in jacket potato if I get home in time to make it! (free)

Dinner - Chicken breast stuffed with garlic/quark mixture and wrapped in bacon and served with carrots, green beans and mashed potato. (free)

milk in drinks will be my (hea)

I will have some nuts and raisons tonight as nibbles (10 syns). I have started drinking sugar free tonic water with ice and a slice in the evening. Tastes just the same as the version with vodka in it (almost;))

    Love
    Marion

    Morning everyone

nice to see you judders, sorry to read your post. thinking of you.

good luck angie loves veg. what a challenge! you must keep us posted as to how you get on :D

I feel a bit better than I did last night about things primarily because I spent the bus journey to work (about 50 mins) planning my menus for the next week / 10 days.

I have looked through the extra easy plan featured in the woman mag - thank you to all who pointed this out :D and picked out the things I fancy. Ive just printed the extra easy menu from the SW site and will try to find the latest SW mag tonight as that has a week of extra easy in it too! I will then be able to fill in the gaps in my diary.

Rather strangely, its been quite theraputic. I have planned the odd treat and some new things for me try along with my old favourites. Once its all done, I will post it here.

Have a good day everyone :j

    Morning all.

    Today meal plan-RED DAY

    Breakie- Mullerlight and fruit -FREE

Lunch- Bacon, musrooms and scrambled eggs -FREE

Tea- Lots of lean steak, potatoe wedges (made with heb option) and piles of veg.

Supper-Special K Sustain (heb) with banana and milky coffee (hea)

Snacks- Carrot sticks, 1 slice of couscous cake-0.5 syn, Mullerlights, fruit,

Drinks- Black coffee, squash, diet coke.

Can someone just tell me is it ok to use the healthy extra potatoe option on a red day as wedges i will keep the skin on and only have the amount/weight stated? Or does it have to be taken as a jacket?
