Frozen mullerlights or other yoghurts will never be a match for proper ice cream, I'd rather spend a few syns on the real thing than settle for something second rate!

Wouldn't they just be back to being slightly more watery muller lights then? ;):p

I've left them on the side waiting to throw them out before, and they don't ever seem to go to a consistency like ice-cream, maybe my expectations were too high :D:confused:

yes but I don't mind as the reason I want to freeze them is so I can stock up when they are cheap:D
I can get them atm for 4 for £1;)

Well this week fo me has been 3 green days, and four Extra Easy days and I have lost 1/2lb

bla bla bla a loss is a loss, at least its not a gain.... bla bla. still feeling narked - this is 100% total commitment, no rules broken, food diary completed, water drunk, superfree foods eaten on mass. heaven help me if I were to cheat, eat out, go over syns etc...

 goes off to stomp in kitchen, eat nice planned dinner and sink a G&T (2.5) and 12 syns of wine, all accounted for and not over syns today.

    hugs needed. please.

    Hey Angie
HUGE HUGS being sent your way. :grouphug:

sometimes the body just wont play ball! how unfair

our consultant says our weight loss should be looked at over the month rather than over an individual week. its hard to do this though when you stick to it 100% and then the scales bite you on the bum. The important thing is to keep at it because the results will soon show and I am sure your weigh in next week will reflect your commitment to the plan.

Have you measured yourself - one of our members who lost 8 stone has said that in the weeks when she didnt lose and either maintained or gained, she would measure herself because sometimes she saw results there which were not reflected on the scales.

Did you wear your "normal weigh in" clothes to weigh in? some items of clothing weigh stupid amounts and some of our members weigh everything they are going to be wearing at weigh in so that they can pick the lightest item to wear ! we have even had members strip before!!

If I was you, I would enjoy a huge piece of chocolate fudge cake because as strange as it seems, I have known members who have sensibly endulged but have then gone on to enjoy a good weigh loss as the body has had a real treat :D

weigh in tonight for me and the scales rewarded me with a gain of 2 pounds which wasnt as bad as my scales at home had predicted!

I have always stayed to image therapy but tonight was the first time after weigh in when i just wanted to run away and hide! I hate having to explain myself - recently my weight has gone a bit crazy as follows!
21 October - stayed the same followed by
    gain 1.5,
    gain 1,
    gain 1.5,
    stayed the same,
    lose half a pound
    lose 1 pound
    lose 3 pounds
    gain 2 pounds
gain 4 pounds (weigh in after xmas)
    lose 2 pounds
    this week gain 2 pounds

I think my consultant is concerned primarily because I always put on a brave face and say oh things are fine, im happy with gaining 4 pounds

I know that I have too many syns and this is something Im going to work on. Also with my newly acquired diary, Im going to plan and go back to basics - when I first started SW my evening treat was a glass of wine and a treatsize pack of buttons. I will try to base all my meals around free food (more than likely following the extra easy plan) and enjoy my treat in the evening which I can look forward to all day!

It has alwasy been the case for me that if I have something on say a meal out then although this might only be for one day, even if its just one meal out, I find the rest of the week a struggle! I dont know why, I just do. Typically I say oh well Im eating out tonight, might as well enjoy the whole day off plan rather than being sensible and saying - ok im going out tonight - will stick to superfree all day.

    Does anyone else find this?

Hi all, I thought I'd give you all an update. Some of you will probably remember me posting way back when I first started SW in April that one of my objectives was to be able to get back into my wedding dress on our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Well with a weightloss so far of just under 4 stone ( It did get to the 4st mark but I had a smallish gain over Christmas) I need to report to you all that tomorrow is the BIG DAY .
I'm reasonably confident(ish) that I'll be able to get it on although I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to do it up :rotfl:. I'm not at target weight yet, although I'm a lot closer now than I was. I'm feeling rather odd about it all actually, for so long it's been a far off, sometime in the future, date and now suddenly it's tomorrow. I'm a little anxious that I'll be very, VERY, disappointed if I can't get it on ( I've been telling all and sundry about trying to get back into my wedding dress!, that'll teach me for having a big mouth) and I'll be left feeling a complete plonker as well as a failure. Yet at the same time I'm, kind of, excited about it because this is what I've been working towards and focussing for all these months. I will report back tomorrow or possibly Thursday ( if I'm busy celebrating) if I've managed to achieve it or not. Wish me luck!
  • Well having been back on the SW diet for a week, I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 4lbs!!! :j

I am really pleased with my weight loss and it has definitely motivated me to be good this week so that I can lose again next weigh in. I really would like to lose 2 stone by april so that I feel so much fitter when I go skiing.

Well done to everyone this week and let's keep up the great work. This thread has helped tremendously with all the support everyone provides.

    Thank you everyone!! :T

The Encona Thai Sweet chilli dip/sauce is 1.5 syns for 15ml (1 tablespoon). If anyone can offer a syn free alternative / recipe then I would be very grateful.

Similarly if you have any suggestions for any syn free alternatives for table sauces/ dips then would you mind posting them? i need to work on keeping my syns down and endulging in (the thai sweet chilli sauce mainly) is one of my downfalls!

    THANK YOU

    The saying goes...

When you gain..you need the group for support...when you lose the group needs you for inspiration!!:T

This goes for image therapy and support sites like this.

    Chin up and keep going
