weigh in tonight for me and the scales rewarded me with a gain of 2 pounds which wasnt as bad as my scales at home had predicted!
I have always stayed to image therapy but tonight was the first time after weigh in when i just wanted to run away and hide! I hate having to explain myself - recently my weight has gone a bit crazy as follows!
21 October - stayed the same followed by
gain 1.5,
gain 1,
gain 1.5,
stayed the same,
lose half a pound
lose 1 pound
lose 3 pounds
gain 2 pounds
gain 4 pounds (weigh in after xmas)
lose 2 pounds
this week gain 2 pounds
I think my consultant is concerned primarily because I always put on a brave face and say oh things are fine, im happy with gaining 4 pounds :rolleyes:
I know that I have too many syns and this is something Im going to work on. Also with my newly acquired diary, Im going to plan and go back to basics - when I first started SW my evening treat was a glass of wine and a treatsize pack of buttons. I will try to base all my meals around free food (more than likely following the extra easy plan) and enjoy my treat in the evening which I can look forward to all day!
It has alwasy been the case for me that if I have something on say a meal out then although this might only be for one day, even if its just one meal out, I find the rest of the week a struggle! I dont know why, I just do. Typically I say oh well Im eating out tonight, might as well enjoy the whole day off plan rather than being sensible and saying - ok im going out tonight - will stick to superfree all day.
Does anyone else find this?
yes ff i also find if have a meal out or start the roses(like at xmas)i get the taste for all things naughty and i just don't stop.i just think oh well there is always tomorrow and before i know it a week has gone by i'm trying really hard to change my attitude towards all things sweet.there is an article in this months sw mag about this very thing called 'Give yourself a fighting chance' it really struck a chord with me:ojoined sw on 22/10/08lost 3 stonere-joined 8/1/12need to lose 2 stones:eek:4lbs:j0 -
well had some pretty crappy news at work today , and still don't know whether I will have a job in a few weeks or not, so have eaten everything today ... so sorry if you could find no food on the planet tonight - I have eaten everything on the planet

I had my first class tonight and in the past 9 days by simly cutting out crisps and chocolate I've lost about 5lb, and thats before I've even started the SW plan!
Can anyone remind me how many syns are in the new muller yoghurts, I know this has been on her before but I've search through 33 pages, couldnt find it and got bored looking!! If anyone knows it would be fab!!

lots of hugs. I have had a good loss every week so far but know one day it'll level off - mind, like you, I'll be disappointed when it does. But as long as it goes - that's the main and I know my hospital consultant will say that when I see him next.
nic 2075 - I tried that muller, fromage frais etc icecream and it was disgusting - inedible. Glad I wasn't the only one.

Chocolate Orange Couscous Cake
Syns per Serving | Green - 1 Syn
Servings | 4
Ingredients
- 4oz couscous
- 8fl oz boiling water
- 1tsp baking powder (½ Syn)
- 2tsp or 1 x 11gm sachet Cadburys Highlights hot chocolate (2 Syns)
- 2 eggs
- 2tbsp low calorie granulated sweetener
- 1 x orange, rind & juice (1 Syn)
- 1 mandarin Mullerlight yoghurt
Method
1. Soak the couscous in the boiling water for 10 minutes.
2. While the couscous is soaking, whisk all the other ingredients together. Add to the couscous & mix well. Pour into a microwavable flan dish.
3. Cook in the microwave on full power for 10 minutes.
You can change the flavour just from replacing the mullerlight flavour and the fruit.
So a lemon cake would be the new lemon flavour mullerlight with and lemon instead of an orange.
4 syns for the whole cake!!!
Hello thanks for thisI just popped in from the other SW thread and thought I would give this a go. However despite pinging for another couple of minutes longer than stated it is still very soggy and wont hold together.Where did I go wrong? Will it come together as it cools do you think?
