sound like you had a lovely christmas Marion :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have weigh in tomorrow night, and whilst a small gain might appear, I am praying it is tiny - I lose soooooooo slowly, that even 2lb would take me 2 months to shift

    Today I am following green,

    B melon
    L pasta / ham (B) / peas etc etc
D something involving sweet potato (could also use a B choice) - waiting for sugestions :D

Other than that, 2L water minimum and fruity snacks.

Ah but it could have been 7.5 lbs :p

You have done so well with SW...and entitled to "let go" over the hols...you know that the gain will be losses in few weeks.

Just a quickie, I have some sweet potatoes, and I am on a green day - other than baking them, any suggestions as to what to do with them?

    Squash and sweet potato soup?

    or

Peel and chop them into cubes and roast them, with little fry light...maybe serve them with a HEB CHicken & tomato basil sauce? And loads of free veggies?

    Making myself hungry now :p

    :hello: Hi all,

Another one here eating (pretty much) what I like until 5 Jan when I go back to class. This is my final chance. 5 stone to lose (target date 19 May ) I'm going to sit down and make a long long long list of why I want and need to do this! But this time I will be staying to class. My first consultant used to have a poster up saying '95% of SW members who don't stay to class never reach target' and she was right!

    Pray for me :o :rotfl:

lovely ideas thanks - I like the roasting idea, maybe adding other veg I have around - carrots, parsnips etc (I shall peek in the freezer to see what I could put it with!)

Personally, I think of soup as too lunchy, and this will be for dinner, but a good idea for another time.

    thanks :T

    My OH's birthday :o;) :rotfl:
  • that's my birthday too Catt. (19 May)

I'm really feeling like I'm getting ready to re-start SW properly on 1 Jan. I am eating all the naughty things up as a kind of very elongated 'last supper' but want to get going.

I'm toying between joining online or using MSE as a support network.

I have many, many stone to lose (over 10, which is pretty appalling really :( ) and am really trying to tell myself to have small targets, even though there is a slower 'noticeability' factor about it.

My first target will be 1 stone by end of Jan and then a second one by 26 March (when I go on holiday).

5 stone by 19 May is an amazing target Catt, I did did 5 stone in 6 months with SW before and then hit a plateau. I've re-started loads of times but stalled at 10 pounds each time.

Even 5 stone in a year would be good for me (and to have kept it off!) and then 2010 for another 5 stone :o:o:o
