ok, i was all set to go to slimming world tonight, was feeling nervous but motivated and was looking forward to making changes....then i find out my cousin has told my auntie, who also plans on turning up
i couldn't go - she is a really mean and spiteful person who has said horrendous things to me in the past and i could not spend 1 minute in a room with her, let alone an hour
so i have joined body optimise instead and will hopeflly be able to count all you guys as my support group??practice makes perfect...but nobody is perfect so i suppose i will keep practicing

Hi klairbear, why has your aunt joined SW? Does she need to lose weight? Maybe after a few weeks she might come onto your wavelength as you'll have something in common? Good luck, and you can count on us!

If she needs to lose weight then the way she has treated you uis even more appalling. Obviously she has issues of her own that she hides behind being nasty to you. Don't let her put you off if you really want to go.I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0 -
she needs to lose a little, but as she always reminds me, it is not as much as me!!
i feel good about my decision, and it will probably be best in the longrun. i start a new job next week so i am going to be shattered and it will be easier to log online than go to groupspractice makes perfect...but nobody is perfect so i suppose i will keep practicing

Hi all
Just been catching up on the thread...seems everyone has had a mixed bag over the christmas period.
Well i had a miserable christmas, my siatica got so bad i could not walk not even with a walking stick which at 24 is not a cool thing to go with ya party outfit anyway!! As a result i have not made it to class tonight which was my after christmas WI night so kinda depressed as i dont know how i have done.
I have not eate bad over christmas but have been unable to do much due to my back and leg being in constant pain, so i am hoping that when it starts to get better i can become more active. I got a fitness video for christmas which uses the slimming world plan aswell as exercise so looking forward to starting this.
Well good luck to everyone who is going to be starting the plan in the new year i wish you the best of luck...and sorry for just a moany post!!:j:j 2st 8 1/2lb loss in 15 weeks:j :j0 -
nano, hope you feel better - I know even when I've had mild back pain you just can't get comfortable, so I really feel for you! You've done amazingly well in your weight loss, so don't worry that you don't know - whether you've put on or not think of it as an extra chance to stick to plan this week and go back with no gain
Just out of interest what DVD is it that you have that uses SW? I must get back on the Wii Fit next week!0 -

I used to be a SW member, lost a lot but.... the consultants in my area changed and to be honest the new ones do nothing for me. Does anybody else find this?
I intend to pop around them all and see if any of them have changed, but does anyone know how much it is a week to just do it on line?I don't get to come on here too often.
Too buzy money saving!0
