Good Morning Everyone and good luck for the week ahead.

I had a okay week-end. Cheated a bid yesterday but am back on track. Having an Original day today.

I just wanted to tell you that I tried the Lemon Meringue this week-end. It's free on Original and Free days. I was very sceptical about it but it came out so nice. I can just not believe it can be free. It's really delicious.

Let me know if you guys want me to give the recipe. Otherwise you can find it on the website that someone gave out here with all the wonderful recipes for SW.

    Have a fab day.

    Ingredients

    1 Lemon
    3 Eggs
    300g Quark
4 tbspns artificial sweetener (not granulated, must be powdered)

    Preparation

Preheat the oven 180 degrees C/350 degrees F/Gas mark 4.

Seperate the egg whites from the eggs, grate the lemon rind and squeeze out the juice.

In a bowl whisk the quark until it is smooth and creamy, add the lemon rind and juice, egg yolks and 2 tbspns of sweetener. Share the mixture between 4 ramekin dishes, place the dishes onto a baking sheet and put into the oven to bake for about 10 minutes.

In a seperate bowl, whisk the egg whites vigorously until the mixture forms peaks and they hold their shape, whisk in the last of the sweetener.

Remove the 4 ramekins from the oven and pour the egg white mixture equally on top of each one.

Return the ramekins to the oven and bake for 5 minutes or until the meringue's are golden brown.

    Sin value per serving:

    Green Day - FREE
    Red Day - FREE

Unfortunately we don't have quack in SA so I used fat free yoghurt and it was really delisious!!

    Hi All

Feeling very tired, because of the anaemia, so I have just woken up after being asleep for the last 2hrs and was absolutely starving....I had no energy to make anything decent to eat so I ended up buttering two slices of white bread and whacking on some ham and crisps!!!

I do feel slightly better now (still lethargic) and am having a nice HOT cuppa:)

Just a quick question please, can I have cheese as a HEb on EE day??
I always use milk as my HEa for tea, and I can't live without cheese, whereas bread or cereal bars I don't 'usually' bother with.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
