Eating like this isn't going to get you the weight loss you want Jemma. It is really important to eat regularly through the day, in effect, by not eating, the body thinks you are starving yourself and will hold on tight to anything you *do* feed it - the quick way to gain weight.
To lose weight you need to convince your body that there is plenty of fod, and that it does not need to store anything for future famine. Eating LOTS of food OFTEN is the slimming world way.
Have a good day today. :j0 -
Snacks can be anything you'd normally have - yes, ham would be free as would Mugshots or anything else thats free. If it has syns you take the lowest syn value (if different on red and green)
Junior_j - I'm afraid you're not eating enough. You will not lose weight eating one meal a day as your body will start to store fat in starvation mode. Do try and have breakfast (even a cereal bar or pieces of fruit/yoghurt) and something for lunch - your metabolism is like an engine - you need to fuel it to keep it running all day in order to burn off weight.

Hi
Can anybody explain to me, what happens with snacks on the Extra easy plan. Before, when i followed red, I could have ham as a snack if I needed to - does that still stand? Or would I need to Syn it?
Thanks in advance
Snacking on ee is... easy!
Anything from the free food lists is fine - so your ham would be free, as would a mug shot or obviously fruit etc0 -

Not sure which plan I am following today, as I don't know what I shall do for lunch, it will either be red, EE or M2M :rotfl:
so todays plan so far:
B muller, banana, grapes, tea (milk HA)
L ?? the great unknown ??
D steak and jacket chips (these are HB on m2m or red, or free on EE) roasted onion with balsamic.
Tomorrow will be green, but we are away in the morning, so I have had to plan it all ahead:
B - fruit and yog as usual, tea (milk HA)
L - jacket spud with tin sweetcorn and eat naturally smooth cottage cheese
D - homemade ravioli (see note below) with pumpkin and ricotta (Hfilling.
syns: gin (2.5) and s/l tonic and wine (6) - need another B choice.
I *know* fresh pasta isn't a free food on green, but I miss proper homemade pasta sooooo much, I decided to squeeze it into the plan as tomorrow is weigh in0 -
