When I lived in Kent I used to got to a little coffee shop and have Banana cake.

If you have a breadmaker they come out lovelly in this too
My recipe is
2 cups selfraising flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
4 spoons of oil
2-3 very ripe bananas

If you have a panny then all I do is stick it on dough first for 10 mins
make sure the bananas have been mashed up good and proper and run a spatula round the pan so it's as clean as possible. Then stick it on bake only - I think I set mine on 45 minutes. You can check with a chopstick or something to see if it's cooked through
If not give it another 5 - 10 minutes and check again

Unfortunately I don't have a Panasonic - someone very kindly gave me an Hinari, but I haven't had very good results so far. I think I might have to start saving for a pannyYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0

I don't have a breadmaker either so I use the oven, 7 inch cake tin I did mine in but my friend uses loaf tins for hers.One day I might be more organised...........

i find myself money strickened yet again - jeez this needs to stop soon - anywya i wen tot the local market today (decieded to try the fruit/veg stall ) adn was amazed
i got
10 golden delicious apples for £1
2lb bag of seedless white grapes for £1.50 (£2 in my nearest tescos!)
2lb of bananas for £1
so the apples will be made into an apple pie tomorrow
grapes are disappearing rapidly as we speak between bf and son
bananas - ive made my first ever banana bread
my only question is - it smells absolutely gorgeous - but what the hell do i serve it with???
do i leave it plain???
do i sprinkle icing sugar over the top??
butter???
cream????
