Funny isn't it... thinking about Rictina's "real world" thread yesterday.
The real world is actually full of dramas, emergencies and crises and £10 and £20 a month nowhere covers it at all! We all say hooray - we have got £10 a month for presents but what is £10 - nowt! £500 is nothing when you look at the size of your electricity bill and may or may not cover your car expenses. To me it seems a little petty to take it off you, but there you go!SA2011 - New year, New start, New me[STRIKE]Planning on [/STRIKE] making my dreams a reality0 -
Hi everyone! am back again!
have had a bit of dinner with my two boys and feel better, realised I had not eaten since about 9am this morning  which probably did not help.
Then I had a nice hug and cuddle with my boys and that made me realise a hug is worth more than £500!
And then to add fuel to my appeal which I still plan to send although I won't get too upset if they say no - both me and my OH have appointments already made for the dentist too so that needs to be paid for too.
Sorry for being depressed everyone!

A cuddle from your children is better than any medication in the world

ok, sorry, another question. Should I email my appeal about it or is a letter better?

cover all bases & do both......send the letter recorded though & keep a copy (that way if they say they never received anything you'll have a sig to prove otherwise)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

Hi everyone! this hasn't been bumped for a while so I thought would see if any of you are about and see how you are doing?
I have been a bit up and down, more down I guess! Had a rotten cold for a while and I am really unhappy at my job just now. It was such a bad day today, my husband picked me up from work and I just got in the car and burst into tears! Thing is, it is a job which I should be grateful for I know, but all I can think of is wanting to leave and find something else. But I need to be sensible and be grateful for the wages.
On a plus side I am getting a wage rise in May but it won't affect my chances of an IPA being imposed. On another plus (well kind of!) they have changed our bonus system at work which means come June, I will be getting another bonus! After the last time, I feel like saying "no thanks" but here is hoping I will potentially have early discharge by then!! But I doubt it.
Hope that everyone else is well.

Hi Donna,
I am here - sort of..... I dip in and out but don't hang around for too long. It is such a hard and desperate slog leading up to BR that we almost live on this board soaking up the help and support that it offers. After BR is a different matter and things settle down into a fairly routine way of life. A lot of people seem to drift away.
I just tend to get on with things and look forward to a life after BR when I can really try and move on with my new life.
I am sorry you are not enjoying the job, you seem even unhappier than before. I know what you mean about the bonus - ours is due at the end of August and for the first time in years the company seems to be hitting targets and it looks promising. It will be so hard handing it all over to the OR if I need to.
Good to hear from you - I am sorry it isn't with a happier post.
Hugs

Jan BR club, gosh guys isnt it flying? soon be 4 months!
Our Trustee is still looking into all our finances, going through the bank statements with a fine tooth comb.. had a few calls.. what was that money for? where did that go? gets me down a bit but I will be glad when its all over!
Hope everyone else is keeping well!0 -
Hi SA! I don't think I realised until today how really unhappy I am with my job but I will just have to get on with it. I have been trawling through the job sites just now to see what else I can do. I think I am just going to go around the supermarkets and hand in my cv lots of places. But everywhere is probably overrun with people looking for jobs just now. Thanks for replying - just feeling miserable. The pressure at my work to get targets met and focus on meeting targets is just causing me to make stupid mistakes that I shouldn't be making, just finding things stressful. Oops! crying again!
Hi nm! sounds like you going through it too with the trustee, hopefully it will be over for you soon.
Best wishes everyone!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0
