  • Hi Don!
I'm still around, life has changed so much for me past 6 years too...
I checked my credit report last year, only problem was Santander who were marking my file with default month in month out, I got that sorted and a cheque for £60 in the process! Lol
Iv only used noddle as they do free reports.. I am going to apply for a credit card just to help build up my report as I'm wanting to buy another house this year, im lucky to have a fair but of equity in this one & am downsizing as kids flown the nest so shouldn't need a large mortgage but want a good rate. Iv had no debt other than mortgage for 6 years, I save every month, feel so much better! A bit older, a bit wiser but can't belieb how quick these 6 years have gone....
  • Iv just checked with call credit (noddle) and my credit rating is 5/5. I only use this because it's free so I hope the others reflect this :)))))

I have been using Noddle as well... going to check mine today, if I can remember my user name and password :D cheeky Santander! I think I have one that defaulted me after my BR date but since it was only two months after it happened, I haven't really bothered sorting it out.

definitely older and wiser... :) you must be sad the kids are all left home now but I hope you find your perfect new home xx

wow just impressed myself and the lady at littlewoods ha ha! I can still actually remember my littlewoods account number after six years! They are the ones who are still recording me as default. but they were very helpful and said they never received notice of the date of my BR or discharge hence why they defaulted after my BR date and are still recording it as default on the credit file. But she said they will remove it altogether as soon as they receive these things :T :D

Very true :) less than 10 months now before BR falls off our credit files, cannot believe how quickly the time has gone :)

Life`s Tragedy is that we get OLD too soon
    and WISE too late!
  • It's not on my credit file now, not on noddle anyway. Noddle says I have a 5/5 credit rating.
It fell off mine when I checked my new report on th23rd jan.
