  • Hi all

Happy New Year. Just wanted to touch base with the club and see if any other members are about? it being the 6th year (and when the BR will soon vanishes from our CRF :T:j:T:j) we must have a lot to catch-up on, I'm hoping all good.

Would be great to hear from you all.

Hi I just scrapped in here was made BR 22/12/2009 after a long battle with what I now know as PTSD after receiving injuries on duty and the ending of my marriage, home and career. I look back now and can see what was happening too me and what I should of done, but thats all history I suppose. i now have a healthy bank balance, sorted out my CRF's a CC paid off in full each month and and a new partner and I manage her finances now.

A I said I was made bankrupt by a debt collection agency for the grand sum of £835.00 laugh of it is they and all the other creditors didn't get a penny as the HMO fees, IP's fees (daylight robbery  ) solicitors fees meant I didn't get a penny nor did anyone else except the missus who had her share of the home. So only 11/12 to go and freedom and I will be allowed a grown ups bank account again.
I love green dots :T I hate red dots
  • I have been counting down to the 9th Jan 2015 ever since declared bankrupt 6 years ago and it is so nearly here I could actually burst!!!!

We ended up BR after the demise of our business due to recession and lost everything (material wise). However OH & myself still together even though it was a tough first year with dealing with our own emotions, kids have not been affected by it as we worked hard to keep their world the same.

We have spent the time working our backsides off in all sorts of jobs until we both found good jobs again and are now settled n happy in them. We are just hoping that after the 9th we can get some sort of mortgage and look forward to getting a 'home' again.

Congrats to all who hit their 6yr anniversary in Jan - I am getting my credit report first thing the next morning to see if it is all clear - cant wait

Hi all.... nice to see some of you all again!

things changed a bit for me too. had a big house move back home to where I used to live. bit nearer to family so that is good.

I haven't kept track of my credit file particularly lol! suppose I ought to check it ha ha!

But even so.... I haven't had or needed any credit cards or loans and that's the way I intend it to stay. Although hubby gets a good slap when he messes up with his credit card!!:mad:

Hope that everyone is doing well and life is very good for you all! :D
