Hangs out with Beano( Showing my age now ). Talking of which I went into one of these new sweet shops and brought 100oz (a quarter in old money) of Everton mints. Took me back to when days were longer and the sun shone all day
or at least it seemed to

Hi everyone - sorry, popped off to give the kids their dinner.
All is well with me thanks very much. Not much happening - didn't want to go back to work today after being off for about ten days! And it made me realise that I really do not want to keep doing this job anymore. But can't do much about that right now, am looking about for another better and more interesting job which is different. I don't want to do something that is admin related or banking related anymore - I have done it for ten+ years and I am now a bit bored by it all. Sorry for the ramble.

Sometimes it takes a little break from something or someone to make you realise that you would rather be without it or them.... When something is in your life day in day out you just get stuck into the routine and trudge on.
Perhaps this is the time for you to go back to doing something that is more interesting and pleasurable for you?
Didn't you say you like photography?

Yes I like photography... I think I would need to properly retrain at college to to do that on a more professional basis.
But then I also knit and crochet! And I would really really like to have a home business selling handmade knitted items and blankets. I have played about doing the knitting etc and have sold items on ebay (only about three or four) and made blankets, cardigans, hats, mittens etc for my kids. but getting it all going will take a little bit of time to set up and then will it be a success???

Yes I know, I have actually been in contact with a lovely lady in America who has written a book about knitting for profit which she is hoping to get published. And I read her book today which has spurred me on again about the knitting etc and trying to get it really off the ground. She was kind enough to send me a draft of it and asked if I would write her a testimonial for her new book which I did today and sent back off to her.
I know - must try harder!
