Now, let me think of something else I can worry over...... ;)

  • Hello everyone....

Day off today and certainly not sitting around doing now't!

Sent off a request to Experian for my credit report in case there is anything I need for my BR forms. Deposited £11.95 into the co-op for my tv licence d/d which they insist on me paying in Jan ........ grrrr. It will be the only transaction on my co-op account, I had wanted it to be brand new, ready for the OR. Oh well.

I have just renewed my car insurance and what a stroke of luck.... they are offering 0% interest for paying by monthly d/d if I renew by the end of Dec - which means that the cost will actually drop this year ..... Brilliant :T

I am currently sorting out all my paperwork. I am normally pretty organised and tidy but it is amazing how much c**p builds up ...... huge clear out underway!

I feel like I am organising every area of my life at the moment and not just the finances.....

Oh, except the love life - perhaps in 2009? ;)

    Hi there ym,

No, I haven't yet.... I was on the Post Office mission this morning
The ATM / pin mission can wait for another time. I won't be using it until after the OR interview, no rush.
I am busy at home now getting a list together of ways to spend the January surplus before the OR can ask for it. Not being devious or anything, but things like my car door handle and passport renewal are going to be hard to fund once the SOA kicks in.....

Are you working today? I am working tomorrow, New Years Eve, from 4pm until midnight..... some celebration, huh?

    Hi SA and Hi YM

I am back at work on the 2nd but I have got a whole mountain of washing to put away, I spent ages washing and ironing etc etc and now it is to get put away.

I am going to put the kids to bed - then get it sorted, otherwise I will be tripping over them as I run up and down the stairs putting the things away!

Our dear dogs have just cost us £130 at the vets today! However, they had to get their injections done so needs must! And the OH paid too! ;)

I am totally unorganised when it comes to paperwork, the OR is going to ask me for things and I can't even find my last payslip let alone the last three! :o

Hope that everyone is well and keeping warm, it is absolutely freezing today and set to continue, only wish it would snow as then my little ones could play. The oldest would run around and the little one would make a snail trail as he bottom-shuffles through the snow. :snow_laug

  • Hi Donna,

£130 - wow. Was that just their routine jabs and MOT's?
I thought £17.50 for lotion for my hamster's skin condition (don't laugh) was steep. I don't begrudge any of it though, I love animals almost more than humans....... well, actually ......... perhaps more in fact!

  • Off work today although I have not stopped.

Petrol £52  today and then went to feed the ducks. Blooming freezing I can tell you so I came home and unpacked my new breadmaker that I got for Christmas. Smells lovely.

Trying to clean up Plaster now as I decided to make some plaster animals with the kids that they got for crimbo. Honestly it is on the ceiling, walls and even the toilet paper. God knows how it got there but will venture into their bedroon in a minute and see the damage.

Hope its not like Wookey hole up there with plaster on the ceiling :D

    Take care

Yep, routine jabs and health check and kennel cough vaccine too. They are family too and it needs to be done. they are our guard dogs too but big softies! They bark like mad when anyone knocks on the door or puts something in the letterbox. and not a nice thought but they have barked like crazy at the back door to get out a couple of times too! but that could be anything really. but the noise they make will put off lots of nasty people i am sure!
