That's because the clocks went forward an hour last night.:D0 -
Can anyone help I have read all previous postings but they do go back to last year. I have received a Parking Charge Notice from ParkingEye.
I can`t remember if I paid for the two hours or not and there were signs in car park to say 2 hours only.
Unfortunately I was one hour over. No parking ticket was left on my windscreen so awful to say but I thought I had got away with it. There were also two men with Parking attendant printed on their jackets so surely they should have issued a ticket?
I have never received a parking fine of any description before.
Help...0 -
It's not a fine, and if you have read some of the other threads you would see that the advice is to ignore completely the letters received plus the invoice itself.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

You have read the previous postings on this little thread only? You've missed 99% of the forum!
We have a whole current parking board with loads of info including stuff about Parking Eye, the letters they send, and a youtube link to Watchdog's advice about fake PCNs from private companies:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163
Start at the top, certainly read the sticky threads there by Crabman - that will show you the letter pics and the Watchdog info. Then click 'search the forum' and put in keywords Parking Eye...:)
By the way you have still never received a parking fine.
If I were sitting here at my PC with a yellow High-Vis jacket on saying 'MSE forum attendant' would you pay me £50 for this reply if I included a pic of me in such attire?! Would you think I was entitled to demand a silly amount of money from you just because I wore a jacket?
Don't be so willing to believe in perceived 'authority figures' that you actually fall for a fake PCN that will not cause you any grief at all. No effect on credit rating, no Court, nothing.
You need to read the current threads & stickies, not this old irrelevant thread about real PCNs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's not the same discussion thread - but it is causing the same problem!
Does anyone suspect that the link at the end of Martin's Article has been changed to this old, irrelevant 'appeals discussion' thread instead of the other infuriating discussion one with all the 'DO NOT POST HERE' please the end of it?
Could a Board guide please change the link at the bottom of Martin's article to the current board view instead? This is what newbies need to see at the end of reading Martin's view:

Hi I received a PCN back on 29/11/2010 and the council in question have only just responded back to me with a letter dated 07/04/2011.
Now I know I responded within the 14 days that they have stated in the guidelines.
Does the council have a responsibility to respond back to me in a timely manner?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

On Saturday I parked at a Taxi stand (yellow, rectangular road markings) as the car park & parking spaces were full (except for the disabled bays). I parked up & went to buy a newspaper, when I came out, the guy was taking photo's & when I approached to ask if he'd given me a ticket, he said it had already been produced & he couldn't cancel it. Do I have a leg to stand on ? I'm going to appeal it anyway as I was literally 2 minutes at the "taxi stand". In 2.5 years of shopping in the village, I have NEVER seen a taxi parked there & a £35.00 fine to me, is excessive.0
