What was the ticket issued for, could be other things you can appeal it on!
He hasn't actually got the PCN yet. There's still a chance (slim) that it won't be

I'm starting to think that parking spot is cursed, I got a puncture last week, £67 for a new tyre!

  • I was issued with a PCN from Shropshire Council the other day - the cover of the Notice has a section at the top front which only had two characters on it (these were pre-printed and were "AT") - there were no characters added to the empty fields (8 spaces for 8 digits) - I assume this field should have the identity number of the enforcing parking attendant entered - is this so, and if the fields are empty, does it make the parking fine legal or not?

Best place to ask is Pepipoo scan the PCN and post it up both sides. You could post it here but as your a newbie you cant!

  • I received a parking ticket for overstaying by 17 mins in Lidl carpark in Dundee. I have emailed to say I am not paying as my son had taken unwell.I have now received a letter from legal recoveries and collections ltd depanding payment of £115 or they will start court proceedings.

    Should I ignore !

    Be grateful for any advice

Yes ignore they won't issue proceeding against you
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

You are looking in the wrong place, this thread is about appeals and there is NO appeal with a private parking company. It's a pretence to get info from you.

See the whole board view and read the stickies at the top, then any other threads:

At least you are right to think you should ignore! Just read up a bit more and you'll know. :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi,

I was recently issued with a parking ticket. The guy who issued the ticket obviously had a faulty machine as when it printed out the ticket, part of my registration number was missing. So technically the registration mark was wrong. Is this grounds for appeal?

    Cheers

Was it council? if so the answer is yes.
If private the answer is no, there is no such thing as an appeal on a private ticket. All you need to do is to ignore a few letters and it goes away.

  • Hi, woke up to see a parking ticket on my car outside my house on a permit bay.

This was for suspended parking on that particular road.

There was a yellow board that was not there the night before. I know this as I walked pass it on the way home last night.

All the cars on that road got fined, they couldn't all be blind right?

Was in a rush to get to work/was ticked off and forgot to take a photo.

    Do I have a case?
