If it is a parking ticket issued by a private company then there is no appeal necessary.0

Mind you, if ahumes does manage to find the pepipoo forums and then speaks there as he/she does here he/she will get bounced off sharpish.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Things seem to have gone rather quiet. Shame.
As the limited company mentioned was only incorporated just short of 6 weeks ago one presumes that their experience is not too extensive. Accepting that ahumes' post was not intended as a marketing exercise s/he might nevertheless like to suggest to the company (as a satisfied customer) that their location in Preston is unlikely to immediately excite anything other than caution here.
Other than providing a chargeable service to those who haven't got the time to deal with their tickets - but are prepared to do a search on t'interweb, one wonders why such people would still invest money when they can get the same advice for free? After all, they're trying to avoid paying anything in the first place.
Or am I missing something? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Hi All,
Bit of a funny one here. I live in Manchester City Centre. Bay parking in the centre is free between 6pm and 8am. I parked my vehicle after 6 pm last night, with the intention of driving to work at 7am this morning. I awoke this morning to find that all the bays on my street had been suspended due to roadworks, and my vehicle was gone. I spoke to a traffic warden, who spoke to control on his radio, and it turned out that my vehicle had been relocated to a street around the corner. This was a relief, until I saw the ticket they had given me! £70 (or £35 if paid within 14 days) for 'parking in a suspended bay'. When I parked, there were no signs of suspension in the street. The suspension had kicked in at midnight, when the council put up signs and cones in suspended bays. They then slapped a ticket on and removed the vehicle around 1am. The traffic warden told me that when this happens, they are supposed to void tickets issued to vehicles currently already parked in bays, as the rules changed when most people are asleep. He said that in this case, either they had made a mistake or had been informed to ignore the rules and issue tickets anyway (obviously, he told me this 'off the record' so I can't quote him on it).
Abviously this is not right, and I shouldn't have to pay. I was just wondering how I should appeal this ticket? I took pictures of my vehicle in its newly appointed place, with the PCN and the 'removed by the council' sign under the windscreen wiper. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,
Please ignore this last post - I will start a new thread (sorry - I'm new to the forum).

Hi would love some help!
I was ticketed in my village yesterday- never happens!!
I was parked across the road from the doctors as there were no spaces in car park- typical!
I was parked on an enlarged pavement(many people park there) with double yellows on the road. I was observed for 1 minute- when I noticed the warden taking a picture it was then too late! The got in the car and laughed grrrrr!!
On the fine it says 01E Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours(double parked/obstruction) I noticed a no parking at any time sign across the road around 50 yards away and another on my side 100 yds away.
Is there anything I can do to appeal this???
Thanks

Signs across the road only affect that side of the road and do not affect where you were parked. Can you copy/scan/photo both sides of the pcn(or is a fpn) host on tinypic and copy the url. Paste the url into a post and remove the http:// bit. Remove personal details but leave dates.
You state 01E Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours(double parked/obstruction) but these are different restrictions so we need these for someone to help you.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Hi!
Thanks for your help Peter-the-piper!
I have copied the pic...challenging for my small brain!!
Hope it's right! Would REALLY love some help on this one!
Thing is I was on a large pavement- possibly private anyway. And there was a 'No parking at anytime' on my side of the road around 100 yds away!
