    Blimey!

What are the chances of all the Traffic Warden lovers coming together on one forum?!?

A lot of tickets issued are NOT because the driver has acted illegally - what about all the tickets given for overstaying in a car park by a couple of minutes? It's called extortion.

    S.

Explain extortion as you understand it.

I admit then that I don't understand the original post.
How is the person, be he traffic warden or not, a coward, in your opinion of course?
And what has the time of year got to do with the issuing of tickets?

Are you being serious? You cannot find the link between Christmas and leniancy on minor parking offences? What if i throw a few words like - money, credit crunch, goodwill into the bag? Get your friends round and over a few drinks see if you can work it out ;)

I thought i'd already explained an example of a minor parking offence? Here it comes again:

I often go for a swim before work and the car park i park at is free between 6pm and 8am. I always ensure im back before 8am but there is usually 2 traffic wardens stood by the ticket machine waiting for it to turn to 8 so they can go and ticket the cars still there.

Coward (adj) - as in lack of consideration for others.

    We ok now?

Can you provide a link to that definition as I can't see to find it - thanks
I thought it was to do with being timid, not aware about the lack of consideration thing but always happy to learn

So cars that park without paying, when payment is due, is a minor infringement?
Fair enough, your opinion and you are entitled to it.

I was and continue to be okay, you alright?

Sorry, i made a minor error which i corrected in my previous post with the letters adj - As in coward as an adjective = cowardice - happy?

And if for a third time you could read my post again you will see.... In fact ill write it again.

A car parked overnight for free........... Now read this a few times and let it sink in before you move on.

The charges started at 8am................ Again take time out and really get this.

Two traffic wardens were there waiting for the meter to change so they could issue tickets................... Surely even someone of your limited intelligence can grasp that.

However lets contrast that with the following scenario:

Car parked outside an entrance to a fire station blocking the exit/entrance Can we see the difference in minor and major?

No need to be abusive - I am simply asking a question.
Where is the definition of coward or cowardice relating to consideration of others?

Charges start at 0800. So if you are there after 0800 you are due to pay a charge for parking - is this correct?
If so I fail to see why anyone can complain if they get a charge/fine/call it what you will for knowingly parking without paying?
I understand your definition of major and minor, however do those that apply the charges?
Perhaps the hypothetical car parked outside the hypothetical fire station would have been removed and a more severe penalty administered so this minor offence could have attracted a minor fine?

Human beings should act as such and utilise discretion and fairness.

Just because a traffic warden can point to a sign and enforce what is a technicality, they could have the human decency to point out to a person that they are liable to a fine if they park there instead of deliberately watching somebody and giving them a fine.

This is the problem. Ignorant traffic enforcers and their jobsworth attitudes.

However, that is probably the highest level of employment which somebody of such intellect could achieve, assuming they aren't large and stupid enough to get a job as a bouncer.

Its not about saying somebody has broken a rule, its about having the intelligence to implement rules fairly.

    I apologise for being abusive.
But it is extremely frustrating conversing with you.
