Traffic Wardens

Any man who can give someone a £60 fine a week before christmas fior a minor parking offence is a coward on a power trip in my opinion.
And I think people who park where and how they like should be forced to use public transport for a month afterwards. Isn't it nice to share opinions? If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -

Has anyone thought that traffic wardens are just doing what the rest of us are trying to do ie earn a living. I wonder what the world would be like if people just parked wherever they liked and sod everyone else.
Please vent your spleen on the rules not the person.
I know someone who has had jobs with the Inland revenue and their local Council but I don't rant at them about my Council tax and income tax.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -

This happened in Gloucestershire I think where they had no TW for 12 months. It was utter chaos.
Also, a town I went to in Eire was similar. There were cars in the high street parked 2 abreast. Utter madness.0 -
If somebody was illegally parked outside your house you would want them dealt with - whether it was a week before Christmas or not.
Let's go that little bit further and not enforce ANY laws a from a week before Christmas.0 -

I see the usual 'rant massive' have completely misread the point behind my post and regurgitated it accordingly.0

I drive a truck around town centres and get fed up of idiotic people who dump their cars on double yellow lines and also on bus spaces outside bus shelters.
Yellow lines are there for a reason. You park on them and you get fined that is the law.0 -

I get fed up of idiotic truck drivers failing to indicate on motorways and simply moving over without care.
I get sick of Truck Drivers attempting to overtake other trucks at the same speed on a hill. In fact when i come to think about it i have a general dislike of trucks full stop.0 -

the laws of physics and basic graivity rules will tell most lorry drivers the correct time and place to overtake, even these simple rules seem beyond most lory drivers these days.
its a syndrome i like to call the "smokey and the bandit syndrome" (even although its a great trilogy) burt and the gang made a good movie but created a million wannabes.
