Believe me, there was not the room to squeeze, even if I had hit the door next to me.
Clambering over the gear stick seemed the lesser of two evils....and it gave the kids a good laugh too which stood us in good stead as they then had to put up with a planned 3 hour medical appointment (which was also the reason why I didn't have the time to pee about trying to squeeze). We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Anyone who commutes to Dyce, Aberdeen, every morning from the city centre by car will know the true horrors of rush hour traffic. First off, the Haudagain. Enough said. Secondly, when you get to Lidl there is a slip road but the traffic is backed so far up the road it is at the roundabout. People still think they can travel down the dual carriageway for half a mile until the road merges. They know the traffic is bad, and know it merges. They do it because they are ar*e holes and barge their way in. I truly hate them, to the extent that I quit a job I had in Dyce as some of the people I worked with were these exact same people.Success and failure is determined by effort.0
