What, that people seem to think they have the right to a 10 ft exclusion zone around their car?
You don't. People are free to park where the hell they like in a car park.
As for Crabman, you'll only do that to my car once and you'll not father anymore kids and be singing soprano.
Aw come on Conor in an empty car park it makes much more sense to leave a space (at least) between cars minimising the risk of door dings.
What really annoys me is the eejits that can't park bwetween two white lines!!!0 -
yeah people have the right to park where ever they like
they dont have the rights to damage other peoples cars because theyre too stupid/lazy/ignorant to park between 2 lines , then let all their chav scum kids fly out the back and smash thier doors onto your car
little bit of respect for other peoples property would go a long way
it even angers me beyond belief when i see it happening to other peopls cars .. i have to bite my tongue0 -
I also do this, mainly because Ive come back to my car with a wing mirror smashed off...hewhoisnotintheknow wrote: »depending on where it is and how long i will be i find leaving sidelights on a night
a) should hopefully stop people clipping your car by mistake
b) makes people not park next to you, i think its because they think someone is in the car:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. I'm not sure how long my car battery would last doing that. I think mine uses about 55 watts including numberplate lights, dashboard and switch bulbs.hewhoisnotintheknow wrote: »depending on where it is and how long i will be i find leaving sidelights on a night

Edit: if I understand correctly (from http://www.batteryweb.com/pdf/inverter_battery_sizing_faq.pdf ) I would safely get about 3 hours.0 -
could fit some led sidelights , that would improve its life0

Gets me too goldspangles, though I tend to use the urinal etiquette rules when parking

Simple way to prevent this is to take up 2 parking spaces if the carparks empty.
Both my Mrs and I have cars we cherish and will park in the free areas of supermarkets and often come back to a sheep parker. At night when there's noone else about park how you like. Bit like when you get the bed to yourself and sleep 'starfished'.
My biggest bugbear in the parking world is people unable to space the cars properly along the street. We have space for 5 cars along the road outside the house and more often than not it's occupied by 3 well spaced cars. :mad:0 -
this post should just be renamed "most people are idiots".
put them in a car, and they do idiotic things.
people that don't realise they're driving at 40 in a 30, people that never let anyone out, don't say thank you when they're let out/through, park like retards etc etc.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0 -
And the people who drive around without any lights on at 5pm this time of year, and even if flashed still don't get the hint0

If that's not an empty threat I may as well add hair curlers and a nail manicure set to my Christmas list
<slaps himself a few times>
Just to clarify though I meant I always leave a wide-ish space as opposed to anything else you may have inferred
