Got a million pages to catch up on here, will have a look through later, hope everyone is well. Had a nice day today, this morning I went to a free preview screening of Slumdog Millionaire and what a lovely feel-good film it is, I would really recommend it. I was laughing and crying.
Then I went to the co-op and, unlike in the past, I went in and saw what was on offer rather than going in for specific things, in the end I got a load of stuff reduced; two lots of tomatoes, a huuuuge block of blue stilton, pears, blackberries, radishes, two kinds of sprouted beans and a big bag of bread rolls for work sandwiches this week. Will make a big batch of brocolli and stilton soup tomorrow night I think.
Got a busy week; starting a new job tomorrow and am very nervous. Its the same company but a new location and doing new "things" so am a bit scared but thankful as I was meant to be made redundant at the end of this month so this is a welcome lifeline, so glad I applied. Although in the past I rolled out of bed late, and walked three minutes to the bus stop, I now have to get a train and the station is a 20 minute walk away, eek. Still, is great exercise and will really wake me up as is bound to be another freezing morning. Am really going to struggle to get up early after all these lies in. Early night tonight me thinks!!0 -
my lovely exOH don't get that said much on here
Actually, now i'm wondering...I thought this was going to say 'Now I'm wondering why he's my ex'
As for the oats, I think people probably just use the cheapest ie not whole oats? (We're veggie so no meat to bulk out, sorry). I have a jar of coffee that I got whoopsied becasue the lid was slightly broken - thought I could just transfer it to my other pot but still had too much left so I've wrapped it up tightly with clingfilm and am hoping for the best. You could put it into airtight containers, that might help (and is something I should probably do myself ).
Janey, plenty of room on the sofa. Your list made me laugh!I'd say bring them all over when you come for a sit down and we'll munch our way through them, to help us relax of course
Thanks for the quotes reminder Whitewing/website Lollopy - my brother reminded me the other day that I made him a travel journal for his year-long trip and wrote my favourite quotes at the bottom of the pages; apparently he loved reading them on his way round, bless him(I loves my bruvver I do). I think I might do something similar for OH and myself, and other friends too :T
Fizzel, of course you can ask, no secrets here - it was £12.95 in shop, £11 online. It's here but the photo honestly doesn't do it justice, it's a lovely purple fluffy thing [note to self; this is probably the most girly I've ever sounded :rotfl:]The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Bails - Is it felted??
Perhaps you could source a square of felted wool and make a cover yourself for a book.
But if you really love it, and since you are still thinking about it now you are home from lakes I would think that is a yes:p ,then treat yourself to one:D especially if it will encourage you to get creative.0 -
