Ooooh, did you see the prices of the cushions on the notebook website? Do they actually get orders for them? If so I think I need to put my knitting skills and soft furnishing certificate in good use...
Edit ok, ok, I am going.... GONE..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

My chemistry teacher used to constantly rip into me for my hole reinforcers, highlighters, files, post-it note pads, hole punch, fountain pen with ink converter for bottled ink... I could go on all day. I genuinely did look forward to having some money so I could go on a 'stationary binge' in WH Smith.

Sorry to hear that Candygirl, me too - will you be off for long?
ETA: ooooh thanks SM, I'll do it now then! As long as I've got permission from a true frugaller
ETA: argh, I can't do it, the frugal purse strings are too tight :rotfl:I'll check I really can get other noebooks to 'refill' it first and then if I'm still drooling over it I'll order one then :T
Right, really must spend some time with OH and eat something so catch you all tomorrow sometime xThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hi everyone,
Just spent the last...forever..catching up from yesterday!
I won Frugal Food on ebay yesterday. £8.23 with postage but free really cause I bought it with survey money/ vouchers. Looking forward to that arriving.
Have been to church this morning, had a friends DS over for the afternoon. So I've managed to spend no money today. Generally I only really spend once a week, except if I've got extra stuff like children's clothes etc to buy. I'll be glad when normal life resumes this week!
DH has gone to work for the week so I should be able to get on top of all the housework and get organised.
I'm another stationary fan. I just love it, so do my DD's!
fizzel81 I don't think I could manage this challenge without the child benefit. Could you try to do it without but keep it to one side just in case and then if you can manage without it, pay off a lump sum?0
