if i ask him to leave straightaway i would be even more scared of the way he will react.
dont think he would hit me but shout all the time and insult me yes that he would do

i dont want to make too angry as i am in the flat too

Good reason for making him leave immediately.

You can and must take charge. If he shouts at you or insults you, you reply quietly and firmly: Stop right there. Put your keys on the table. Leave now. I am not going to have this conversation. Your belongings will be ready for you to collect from the doorstep at (date) (time).

Whatever inconvenience he suffers, whatever other arrangements he has to make for staying somewhere else, are not your responsibility.

well i am still waiting for him to sign the lease he still has not. it is on the table for the past few months and he has not sign it.

Er, what lease? Did you mean to say lease? Are you saying that you have in fact sold half/part of your flat to your "lodger"?

No, I think she just means that he hasn't signed the lodger's agreement that covers her own terms, conditions, groundrules etc. for staying at the flat.

Amy love, you're boring us now. You're either a troll or a complete drama queen. "Oh no, I'm sooooo worried he'll trash the flat" (he didn't and you had no reason to think he would), "oh no, he might be violent" (HAS he been?).

Well done - reclaim your space! Think of how you will arrange things better next time, to have a nice lodger: eg a few more background checks, a new agreement that keeps you in control, not letting the lodger move in until s/he has signed the agreement, not feeling stressed.

Your lodger will try to make everything your problem but it isn't. Just say that, after long consideration, you have decided that he has to go and you are not prepared to discuss it with him. Wish him best of luck with finding alternative accommodation.
