Surely they wouldn't be able to do the lightest weights or the lowest setting on the treadmill.....
No, but identical twins are useful because you can have one in each hand and use them to do dumbell flyes.0 -

i regret not signing up...wouldn't have minded having access to swimming pools on a regular basis =(
anyone know whether pru are planning to have the 6 months free offer again? I read some people mentioning another gym (david lloyd?) joining up with Pru - are they gonna be offering free membership because of that, or will it be a case of fixed reduced gym fees?0 -
I have also received my pack today - but no mention of the 6 months free offer?
Does anyone know if the Gym your joining automatically signs you up for 6 months free?0 -
Holmes place are 12 month contracts. Canons are only 3 month minimum.
I got my pack today. joined on the 27th feb 3pm, , my letter/pack is dated the 28th and does mention the £25 a month gym offer, but no mention of the 6 months free... I will call them saturday (if they are open) for more info.............0 -
hmmmm I hope we werent done for being too late. Maybe you had to join the gym before the cutoff date
Let us know what you find out!!! (still waiting for my pack, signed up on 28th)

Hi,
I thought I read somewhere that the free Gym membership details will arrive once they have received your first direct debit payment.
Anyone else read that?0 -
I joined under this offer, and arranged for my membership to commence on the 28th feb. When I had called pru over a week earlier the person I spoke to said that as long as you applied before 28th you would be eligible for this offer
I phoned the Holmes place membership number given in the pack which I received. I was asked which offer I was responding to ("six months free gym") and I was given a reference number. They transferred me across to pru health, who activated my gym membership, and explained how to proceed.
I then had to take my pru health card, the reference number and 1 other form of identification to the gym: that's all there was to it
Apparantly you then receive a further pack with all the gym membership info, but this is said to take another 7 to 10 days
based on my experience, I suggest you just phone the number in your pack and ask; both people l spoke to were very helpful0 -

does this mean that you can commence the gym membership even before the first DD payment comes out of your bank account, despite what it said in the T&C?
speaking of which, did anyone save a copy of the T&C? i normally make sure i keep a copy of them for any offer i sign up for but i think i must've neglected to do it this time :S0
