Its a fab Quiche PP!! My lot didn't eat mine and it was really nice. Fussy lot!

CQ - Well impressed with the driving!!! You do it once, you can do it again!

Am being forced to babysit my nephew (luckily by marriage) He is a little S.O.D. and I dont like him much. DD1 is with her social worker (Useless lump that woman is) to try to sort her (DD1) out a bit. And DD4 is feeling much better - thanks! Not eating (obviously!), but she is running around being the normal monkey she is!

Have some more bits to Ebay and Freecycle tonight (Only cos I didn't get round to it the other evening) and a magazine and a bottle of wine chilling for afterwards - when the kids are all asleep!

DD2 (11yo) does guitar lessons at school. Speaking to her music teacher who called today, she actually has a talent for it and told me that it would be beneficial for us to purchase one for her! OMI! The prices!

The local music shop STARTS at £70! Ebay is about £40-£60 depending on what you want and not much of a selection 2nd hand ones at first glance. Might pop a request on Freecycle later to see if anyone else has one knocking about. There is no way I can afford one right now. But C'est La Vie!

Perfect link, if you like I can shorten it for you until you learn how to do it yourself?

Honestly it's not hard but I do it differently to the way explained in an earlier post.

    Good Afternoon Everyone

I am feeling v satisfied right now has had really productive day (which will go someway for making up for yesterday).

House cleaned from top to bottom and hoovered, a filing job for my business (which I normally put off) all done up straight & washing basket empty!! (well for now).

My DD just told me it was her friends bday yesterday and thanks to you lot I already had some presents put away that I bought in the wworths sale so no panic.

PP - my daughter is the same age as yours and on and off can be quite a nightmare at the moment but I think their hormones have just started going haywire - still doesnt make it easy though.

Pooky - I hope you enjoy your anniversary dinner and I wonder when youve got time if you could tell me how you make your stuffed chicken breasts - I used to buy a similar thing from tescos - but obviously no more - and it was one thing that the whole family liked.

Hope you all have a loverly evening.

Actually I'm already starting to panic that I wont be ready and about the drive up there :o I refuse to leave the flat messy when I go away(not very often) but this might have to be a first.

    Afternoon everyone...
Haven't posted for ages but have been lurking and enjoying reading everyones busy days....

Just cooking the spuds for our cottage pie tonight...had a pretty uneventful day apart from that!
Had coffee with a friend of mine...she has just bought a new car on finance after remortgaging to consolidate all her debts just before Christmas....I'm sure its a nightmare waiting to happen, but its up to her...maybe I should just give her the address of this site and that might be enough... :o

We on the other hand are still eating turkey! and I'm trying to feed us on £50 a fortnight, for 6, just for this month though, really determined to get our CC paid off at the end of this month, so I think its worth the struggle to do that!!

Hey Math if your passing on info to make some money I'd be interested...what are paid2clicks? and how much can you really make?

Hope everyone has a great weekend......

When I get home tonight I should have a nice little bag of goodies from Boots from my OH after his shopping trip (yes more shopping trips tomorrow). I'm also going to put the breadmaker on for some fresh bread tomorrow morning. Haven't done that in a while...and it is a weekend afterall.

We're having turkey fillets for tea....with what don't know....OH will do the cooking so it could be anything. Yesterday he was talking about chips....to go with our pork chops.

You might be lucky - musical instruments do occasionally come up on Freecycle. They do on the London group, anyway.

I got round the musical instrument issue by being a singer :D 12 years of lessons, Grade 8 and some regular professional work, and I've never had to pay for my instrument :D:D:D (I get my lessons on the cheap too, cos singing teacher is a good friend).

Although my (digital) piano did cost me about £750...

I've actually always wanted to learn the oboe, but they are horrendously expensive to buy (even reconditioned "starter models" come in at £1-2k )
