    Hi everyone :hello:

    I've been a busy bunny for the past couple of days. I was going to post last night, but by the time I got to the end of the thread, I was exhausted :)

    Anyway, I've taken SD2 to speech therapy, been to Asda to buy soft drinks and chocs for a tuck bar, then went into a pet shop so DS2 could look at the animals (that big chain where I wouldn't buy an animal, but I will look :D) Met some friends in there so we had a chat over the chinchillas :) DS2 now a pre-school so I now have 1 1/2 hours to do some jobs before next door's son arrives. I've just had lunch (salad with pine nuts and houmous) so will get on shortly.

    BM has been on today, but loaf didn't rise too well - I think the tepid water was actually too hot. DW finished and needs unpacking and WM needs loading again. Generally, lots of tidying, hoovering and dusting everywhere.

    Tea will be leftovers - we had chicken last night so plenty left and there's some HM steak and mushroom pie too, so they can all have a choice. I shall be having some detox recipe leftovers too.

    Right, (((hugs)))to those in need, happy birthday Lillibet and hope everyone has a good day

    Looks great PP - I find quiche a very good way of using up left overs. I hardly ever make one purposly - strange really that some of the nicest dinners are made using left overs. I shudder to think of the things I wasted in the past.

    Lillibet: Pleased to see your post. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
    MATH: Pretty please.... could you let me have the details as well?????
    C_Q: Fantastic re driving. Also, seem to recall that your eldest comes home this w/e. Hope all goes well.

    Well it's been quite a disorganised sort of week for me - even the weekly grocery shop hasn't been done (should have been done on Monday!). Pleased to report that our own, unplanned Storecupboard/Freezer Challenge went pretty well, and I'm pretty determined to lower my Grocery Bill further for a few months at least.

    So, what are you up to at the w/e?: We need to:
    - finalise the list of party food for my little 'un's 2nd b.day family do next w/e;
    - finish a "Happy Birthday" banner for said party;
    - make and freeze her "piggy" cake, ready for decoration next Friday evening;
    - encourage OH to finish the graphics for her pressie - an "art starter kit", so I can wrap that up
    - have her hair cut (not brave enough to go OS with this)
    - catch up with laundry
    - spiff house up, hand clean car
    - entertain in-laws on Sunday evening

    Oooh, looks like I've got a list together: the most organised I've felt in ages!

    Have a good pm, ALL! :j

    PS: Yummy quitch, sorry, quiche, PP!
