  • YUK I know its life but the thread`s full of sick with some graphic accounts. It is putting me off. No need for it and will put a lot of newbies off including my two daughters who I`m trying to get interested. That and the bad tone yesterday from a couple of posters one regarding smelling coffee. Not good!!

I must have missed something. Trust me not to post on OS for a couple of days. ;) We have pretty hardy stomachs I don't think we lot over here will be put off with a bit of *sick* talk. Hope your DD gets better soon Charlotte664.
Ronanfan - I hope you don't have conjuntivitis. You need drops for that. Well here they can only be prescription. Really annoying as DD always get bouts of it.

Kittie - don't really know what your talking about but smelling coffee is a good past time. There are worse things to smell.:D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning
Got everything done yesterday due to my dad finishing work early, so he called in and I got him to take DD to see the duck, she wasnt that bothered, he was over the moon because he got to show her off.

Today is cleaning day, and hopefully I'm going to wash the walls in the livingroom so i can paint them next week, the paper has been off for the last year but not got round to saving the cash to do it properly, fed up of looking at it now so just going to use up the white paint we've got left to freshen it up. Then when we've got the money I have a grand plan to how I want it to look.

    Breakie: Tea and Toast
Lunch: Chicken dinner leftovers for DD and Beans on toast for me
Dinner: HM Macdonalds ie Burgers from the butchers on Buns and HM oven chips.

    Have a good day everybody

    Morning all!

A good night was had last night, even if it did end up just the three of us gassing the night away (other's cried off for varying reasons!). I was most amazed ... spent under a £10 (£9.80 to be precise!). No hangover either, avoided wine and drank Smirnoff Ice and plenty of water when I came home.

Yesterdays beef/mushroom pudding went down a storm, so leftovers for lunch methinks!

DD ended up in bed with us from 01:00 (not that I noticed, she was lurking over on DH's side somewhere - superkingsize bed, easy to lose people in!)

Up at 07:00, feeling fairly accomplished (small things keep me happy!)
Two loads of washing folded, been to paper shop, eaten porridge, DW emptied and re-loaded, DD gone to nursery and dug DH out of bed:

B - Porridge, honey and cream
    L - leftover beef/mushroom pudding
D - spicy celeriac bake with rhubarb crumble if DH makes it this afternoon.
    S - Cheese / biccies

Tesco delivery due between 09:00 and 11:00

Off to work, tum te tum ... (not too far to go, I work from home!)

    Morning all :hello:

VERY hung over this morning after colleague's leaving do. Even though I was being quite sensible and alternating alcohol with soft drinks etc. It's so tempting when other people are paying for it :o

Looking forward to an OS weekend with a sausage casserole in the slow cooker and a tidying frenzy at home!

  • :) So sorry about the sick,Kittie, but its nice to know I'm not the only one washing it out of bedclothes this morning ;)

Have just been to Tesco for wine, fish and pineapple-I was reading the thread about fresh pineapples and they seem to be a miracle food.Decided to have some for late breakfast,a bit tasteless unfortuunately.

Have 3 loaves worth of bread rising-I do it the manual way,no BM(no DW or TD either)WM used constantly though.
