Just wonderinf if any one can help me. I have heard that people who are on JSA are eligible for help towards dog neutering but I cannot find anything available online. If anyone could help me I would be very grateful.

    Thank You

Give the RSPCA a call they can sometimes help towards the cost

Contact your local Council, they should have details of local vets or organisations that run free/discounted neutering schemes. They can also tell you which benefits make your eligible for them.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
  • Hello,

Firstly - I am glad to hear you are thinking of getting your dog neutered - its a good idea for so many health reasons, as well as preventing unwanted pups.

I know the RSPCA sometimes do neutering vouches for £30 for those on benefits, some dog wardens offer vouchers too - I would contact these and your vet and see if there are any schemes locally you may be eligable for.
  • DOGS Trust neutering is £30 dog or !!!!! but only at participating practices - check via the dogs trust website. Covers just about anybody who is on a benefit or pension.

  • If you are truly savvy then an RSPCA voucher for £30 + Dogs trust will in fact be .... free! I did a pile of this very type on Wednesday, I win, you win and the dog gets done - fantastic..

  • You need to be on Housing Benefit....not just JSA

I'm hoping to get RSPCA help to do mine but need to check if the Vet she has to be spayed at accepts them. Get 20% off the normal cost as she's a Rescue & it's the Vet they use, then the Rescue refund £60 if I want them to.
