A days pay is nothing, and they made the choice, but what of customers? A lot of people are going to be left disappointed if gifts are late because of the selfish actions of lazy postman. If the Postman actually did a decent job then I'm sure the public would be a bit more sympathetic, but the truth is that they are lazy, careless and there are a fair few thieves within their ranks.
They could have left action until a few days after Xmas, but being the !!!!!!!s that they are they decided to cause chaos for the customers as usual. :mad:We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
It is true - the customers will be disappointed and the big companies posting the items out won't care. It is the people at home that will be most hit. And all the elderly people waiting for cards from their grandchildren or those away from family who can't come back home for Christmas - they will be the one who don't receive the cards and presents.
It will cause disruption to already pathetic service and they are going to lose more of that little support they got now...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

so who's fault is it that the service is in the state it is now?0 -
Let them strike, at least it will be one less day that I get a letterbox full of junk mail that Royal Mail post through my door everyday.
I doubt the strike will go ahead though as this would surely put a large dent in the Posties Xmas drinks funds, with all those cards with christmas money in!0 -
well given the last post i'll stepout of this thread only to hope one day im working a route where one of the posters would call me a thief to my face.
its only happened once before and the 'customer' has now moved0
