As for glucose in urine, I always get it if I eat sugar puffs!!!! No idea why.

How strange. I bought a box of sugar puffs for the first time in years a couple of days ago, and now this freak glucose in urine thing! Must be linked. Weird!

Aww, I can't have NHS antenatal classes :(

(Well, technically I can, but I really don't think I can manage 9:30am ones. There are evening ones, and I was planning on going to them, but turns out they are fully booked. How can that be, when you don't get invited to them till 28 weeks?)

Probably a lot of ladies due in the run up to your due date if you see what I mean... so if they are due a week or two before you they would have gotten on the classes before you... if that makes sense

I love HSM - looking forward to watching them all over again when Bean arrives and starts growing up. OH wonders why I like Zac for a boy!!!

Glad I'm not the only one who is planning.

My Mum is already planning on taking the baby to the new Chester Zoo thing. He'll be 9 when it opens!

:rotfl: : MFD - i love it! The only people I'm usually rude to at the door is jehova's witnesses (sorry if anyone here is one) I usually say I'm not interested in joining a group of murderers  :o they don't like that much!

You want to meet my dads ex-wife? She's a JW ;) And no I don't get along with her (manipulative hag but not sure that has anything to do with her religion... that's just her!)

MFD, you can get staffordshire oatcakes in Walsall tesco! We can meet up at kiddisave then pop to tesco's after if you like....

In laws are ex JW... They're lovely people, they just used to have funny beliefs... I find if they knock the door I just tell them I'm a christian and very happy with my bible TYVM and they leave...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'm worn out... Been to Ikea this morning... Had meatballs and dime cake for lunch... And apparently needed £20quids worth of stuff once I was in there...

I'm really pee'd off about my midwife appointment... I have seen a different one every single time, when I saw this one on Tuesday she didn't even ask me if everything was ok or I had any questions so of course I didn't think to ask any until I left.... And I'm 24 weeks and have had neither my MatB1 or prescription exemption forms let alone an early grant form... They're not that important because I don't have to hand anything into work and I get free scripts anyway but it's the principle of the thing!

Got church housegroup tonight, definitely at my house this week... Which means I really need to straigten my throws and hoover the living room and hall... Which won't be easy seeing as the brand new hoover we bought with our wedding vouchers blew up this week!

Oh, and why is it... On days when I ache all over and it hurts to go from sitting to standing... Stoopid men knock on the door asking if I want new windows or doors... Or have I had this booklet on energy price rises... The next bloke to knock and say 'is this your house love or do you rent it?' is going to get a pregnant lady kick in the nuts...

You know we've not really had any door to door sales men apart frmo students at christmas trying to sell pictures - Usually even they don't try to sell too hard - maybe it's the police van next door? :D

I AM jealous about the meatballs though... I want meatballs now! WANNAWANNAWANNA

Oh and the 25 weeks check round here is usually a GP one which I really need to get round to booking... whoopsie :)

Oh feelie, you made me laugh out loud!!

Yeah, can't wait for trips to the Zoo - will be Chester for me too!

I had lots of practice with my lil sis who was born when I was 17, she is now 8 (just given away my age!) and we have SO's (sleep over's but calling them sleep-over's isn't cool apparently) and stay up watching Strawberry Shortcake, Finding Nemo oh and Shrek - how many times can one child watch Shrek?!!!!

And also oatcakes... Potato cakes and waffles...

Mmmmmmmmmmmm might have to have waffles now... insert Homer style "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaffles.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm"

I might ask if they know how long from referral to dating scan at the hospital I'm going to.

If you're going to Warrington I went there and I had my bookig in app at the hospital at about 9/10 weeks then my scan at 12 week but I can't remember if I'd got the app before or after. I think you get the letter before but not hugely long before! Hope that helps.

The labour ward is absolutely bloody brilliant there (ime) but you have to be a bit assertive on the maternity ward (I've heard others say the same).
