    morning!

Our window fitters are here, and they are smoking in the house.

Just wondered how assertive you'd be while pregnant about people smoking near you?

Obviously if you are a smoker or your OH is, then that's something you've entered into willingly, and is down to personal choice. I just wondered if anyone agrees that this feels a bit like it's been thrust upon me!;)

The cheek of them!! Did they even ask? I'd be furious  - not just because of pregnancy, because its a no smoking house!!

    Tell them now!!

Tell them to get the F outside if they want to smoke! Cheeky bleeders!

If you and/or your OH are a smoker, then that's your choice, it's your house, but for someone to come in and light up uninvited is taking the pish!

I meant to ask earlier, who has sent off their Maternity Allowance forms? If you have, how long did it take to hear something back from them (if you have heard anything back that is!)

I've got all my stuff to take into work tomorow and then I've got to wait for the form SMP1 (I think it is?) from my boss, and also a covering letter for each of the 13 weeks I've chosen as we don't get proper wageslips so I need a letter for proof/evidence for my claim.

Soon as I receive those, I'll get my forms and stuff to the job centre.

I can't claim SMP as I didn't earn enough during the 8 qualifying weeks, grr!

Smoking in your house while working is illegal! They should go outside and only for a few during the day. Tell them to take their cigarettes outside!

Sorry for barging in! But i keep an eye on this thread in the hope that i will join you soon :)

I'm finding it very hard to find nursing bras (or even non wired non nursing bras) for my size. Everyone assumes that because I have big boobs, I must have a big back size. I'm looking for a 30G - 32G or so.

It's the general concensus that first babies are late - I certainly am. I have read that the original way of calculating was byt eh moon and in modern day terms this means that most EDD should actually be at 41+1 - but as 3onitsway posted, no-one knows for sure. so long as baby is healthy and happy I'll be happy (relatively!).

Ah so you're a couple of weeks late applying yourself (well not late, but you can claim from 26 weeks can't you) - by the time I get the stuff back from work which I need, i'll be about 27/28 weeks.

When are you asking for yours to start? I'm starting my Mat leave on the 1st April, so want it to start at the beginning of that week.

Yeah, please let us know how long it takes to hear anything back xxx

Bravissimo do small back/large cup sizes don't they? (Saw them on their latest advert on telly) Not sure if they do nursing bras though xx

Ahh, they do do nursing bras! x http://www.bravissimo.com/products/search.aspx?search=nursing
