    Hello everyone...

Well scan went great, placenta has moved fully out of the way:j:j:j:j:j...As you can see I am very pleased. I didn't bother with pics as baby is so big you can only get bits at a time on the screen, and as baby was looking down all the time so couldn't see the face. Apparantly baby has lots of hair  No idea where that came from, my other two were completely bald, and ds1 didn't get any till he was about a year old!!!
Anyway I feel so happy that everything is fine. Baby is also measuring a couple of weeks ahead, but I knew that would be the case as I do have nice big babies, and I suspect this one will be too, that is why I am going to try every eviction method possible from 37wks onwards;)

knickers - I just carried on wearing my normal ones and wear them tucked under bump, they are mini/midi type so low cut anyway. I did buy some over ones but always had a problem with them rolling down, it takes a while to get used to wearing them tucked under but a lot less frustrating.

pain relief - I had an epi with ds1 as I was induced, so on two drips and heart monitor, so effectively strapped to the bed and midwife STRONGLY recommended having an epi....which I did, although it didn't work properly and then fell out and had to be re-sited....I also went through a whole bottle of G&A and could still feel head crowning etc.... With ds2 it was much more relaxed and had no pain relief until 8cm then had G&A.

I will stay at home, I talked with the boys and they are fine. Although ds1 wants to know why he can't watch the baby coming out, because it's not fair cos daddy is allowed to watch  :rotfl:

p.s - baby is a boy (which is what i've been saying all along)

It doesn't really make any difference regarding names as we had two picked for each sex, but as I kept insisting I knew the sex anyway, I was only ever thinking between two names, and one of them was first choice, with the other being kept in the closet for baby four....which will also be blue

Asda: Its not advertising the baby event or anything but two of the things I definitely wanted to get were the tommee tippee sterilizer and breast pump and they're both priced £10 already... In an ideal world I love shopping and can lose a day in the supermarket... But when I'm pregnant I just can't go into shops... Within minutes of walking in I feel like I'm going to pass out and being hungry / tired has nothing to do with it... I don't know what it is but I had it last time too...

MA: It might of changed in the last 5 years but when I applied for mine I got no confirmation from them, just a giro for back pay because I was late applying and then a book to cash at the post office... But this was just when direct payment was coming in so the money might just appear in your bank account...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    ...

for me it's always thinking of where the closest loo is :D and also why do they have the shops sooooo warm. i had to walk out of Boots y'day becuase of how hot it was in there.

oh, on the boots note, if anyone is a boots shopper and a fan of No7 Ruby and Millie can you drop me a PM???
  • Not been writing for a while but keep up with the thread regularly. Try not to look at the list though as I am getting so near the top now:eek: .

Went to Asda on Saturday and got the Tommee Tippee Breast pump and microwave/cold water sterilizer for £10.00 each. If anyone else is getting these don't forget to use the £5.00 voucher from the bounty pack (if you collected in ASDA). I ended up paying £15.00 for both!!:T

    Have a lovely day everyone!
