  • Sami - I went to Mothercare yesterday and got some nice Maternity wear - some green combats, a wrap around long top (A bit like a dress), a brown T-shirt that is also a nursing t-shirt. The combats are so comfy, I can highly recommend them!
I also know what you mean about not doing valentines too - DH birthday is on the 19th, so we hardly ever bother to do anything.

I just wanted to go out like a "proper couple":o OH is the only male company my age I get really, I spend all week with just Chris and other Mums n tots...

Sorry, after I'd typed that I went off for a shower and whilst in there, I realised what you meant!

Me and OH never ever seem to go out as a couple (hence it not being my first thought). Only few times are for meals which his sister has paid for as a thankyou for him having done some work for (she puts them through her work expenses!). He's always had big debts which stop him spending money and he doesn't like me paying for everything cos it makes him feel guilty (despite him being the one to pay the mortgage which keeps a roof over my head!).

Don't worry Elle, I wondered off to help OH put a mirror up, which has made me chuckle coz I placed it where it looks best above the fire place but I can't see myself in it!

Molly - I lived in their combats last time but I'm just a smidge fatter now so they don't fit, I keep putting off getting anything in case it gets hot ever - as if!

I've left it a bit late now tho  I moped around for a bit and OH is trying to get back in my good books with a cuddle and has brought my lunch to me bless :)

We don't generally do anything out of the ordinary for Valentine's Day. We've forbidden each other to buy cards - the plan is just to have a nice meal cooked together at home after DS goes to bed, and relax and watch a movie together. I'm happy with that.

OH NO!!! I was just coming on for a catch-up and natter, and realised it is nearly ten past four, and I haven't even put the chicken on....and now I've realised I haven't even defrosted it

Was musing over my decision for a home-birth and I feel like I am having second thoughts about it....who else is having one???
My concerns are more over the boys seeing/hearing me in pain than anything going wrong!! I just don't know what to do :undecided

well i ate a lot of roses had a carry on with texts to OH telling him i was swinging from the lighshade painting the roof only to remember we have spot lights and i couldnt swing from them lol! i even painted the wall i stripped and feel a little better. OH came in with a large fruit and nut dairy milk(which has disappeared lol??) and a frys choc orange creme!!

sami there is still lots of roses if you fancy it!

redmel i am having HB have got the kit etc etc and am looking forward to it in one sense but am terrified in another? my MIL and FIL stay 10 mins away so will get kids unless its stupid hours in the morning and in that case i will leave them in bed. i am planning that they will stay with MIL and FIL for at least a day and night to let me recover and get a sleep but who knows?? i am worried about things going wrong and how quick they could get me to hosp? have MW tom so am hoping that i can go through everything again and relax about it all???
