    me, be mean................ never.........promise

the power cord to my laptop is doing my head in, my own fault really as i need to buy a new one as this one keeps cutting out. if it does it once more, i'm not coming back online. it will be Ds time

Angel do you find that your ds gets less sensitive to ur stylus? I've lost my spare one so I can't compare to see if its point was worn down ( worn down I don't play on it much!)

:rotfl: that's where my spare stylus went! well until it got lost by OH
I have jewl quest on my phone and thankfully my thumbs hurt so I don't play for too long, but I have 7 wonders on ds which is similar and I've become a bit addicted lately!

Aimee's chewed the stylus to hubby's DS to death and it keeps dropping out and disapearing... She doesn't mind though, she's discovered just about anything pencil shaped will work... She was using a teaspoon the other day!

MFD... Hiccuppy baby... Nowt ya can do mate... Aimee used to be popping all the time... Would stop for 10 mins then start again... Was the single most irritating thing ever!... Sorry ;)

Kystal you know you do get 1 spare one with the ds so should be one lying around somewhere - I'm liking Aimee's resourcefulness tho!

Sadly the DS came from his mothers house so anything that came spare will not be lying around here... Will get some generic stylus's from Game station sooner or later probably... Just one of those things we haven't gotten round to... I just googled Jewel quest... Its similar to bejeweled, I play that on the xbox... Might get hubby to download it for the DS before I have my GTT... Might keep me entertained at the hospital!

Night AF :) And Sami :)

  • Hi!
I have been lurking on this thread for ages but didn't want to put this in writing because it makes it feel so much more real! I am pregnant with my second child and I have never fully got over the traumatic natural birth I had with my first child. I found out just before xmas that I had placenta previa and would need a section, shortly afterwards on boxing day I had a massive bleed at home which resulted in me being taken into hospital by ambulance and kept there to monitor the blood loss. Luckily the bleeding stopped and I was allowed home after 7 days. Whilst I was in hospital I saw a different consultant practically every day who each had their own different opinion on the situation and to be honest the inconsistancy of their advice has left me very worried about what to expect fom the surgery. I was told that there was a good chance that I would beed heavily during surgery and that I would need to be transfused and a possible uterus removal, I was told that under the circumstances I could have a general anaesthetic especially as I was nervous. I went for a check up the other day and another different consultant has booked me in for the section on the 6th Feb (due date 17th), I was told that I would be having a spinal block which I said that I wasn't happy with as I was frightened the spinal block and of being awake should things turn serious. I was made to feel that I was putting myself and my child in danger for opting for a general and he said we could discuss it on the morning of the op.
Now, ever since my appointment I have had what I can only describe as panick attacks, uncontrollable crying, chest pain and a racing heart beat. My midwife is unavailable to talk to, I have exhausted every reading resource on the net and I am making myself sick with worry. I just don't fully understand my options, I'm unsure about the procedure, I'm terrified that something will go wrong and I don't know who to turn to. I had just about come to terms with having a general anaesthetic and now the plan has changed. Everything you read seems to be some horror story about things that go wrong and I'm doing myself no favours by looking. I was wondering if anyone out there was in a similar situation and could offer any advice. Sorry for the long post. xx
You cant have everything; where would you put it? ;)
