How about cream then spray. I would probably just spray it.

Then again I have an animal leather bag and I've never used anything on it.
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Sami - I've never protected a leather bag  shoes yes but I dont use my bags to walk through puddles!!! You will prob be fine.

I am wrapping DSS's birthday present - I remember saying to him ages ago that once he turned 9 he would be nearly ready to be a big brother - and now it's his birthday and it's all getting real!

Pram is up and sorted, but hubby doesn't want to put it in the garage  all he sees is a pram in the dining room, all I see is clutter!!!

Anyone ever tried just leaving everything and seeing what happens, I did manage for 2 days but couldn't do it any longer.

I absolutely cannot complain on this one. When I ended up in hospital for almost 2 weeks last summer, DH took time off work, stayed home and took care of DS and kept the house by himself, with some help from DD. When I got home, the house was clean, laundry done, and he kept up with it for about a week afterwards, so I could recuperate. He is great about doing stuff around the house. I've thanked his mum repeatedly for how well she raised him.:rotfl:

And hooray - GP said I can take paracetamol today and tomorrow and see how I feel, as long as no fever. So I don't have to take antibiotics! (they always seem to cause other problems, which are TMI!)

Our double pushchair is folded up in the corner of our dining room. Nowhere else to put it, really.

It's his big day today!! I would pass on your best wishes but he already thinks I am mad!!

I have been avoiding the question - we went for the Stokke :o

In my defence, the second hand retail value on the pram is fantastic :p and I did bargain hunt like mad to get the best deal (even if I did end up back in Kiddicare lol)

What a gem - keep him ;) :rotfl:

Mine is good when asked but can't seem to spot the dirt himself. He does most of the dishwasher and bin changing though. I haven't hoovered since I got pregnant I don't think (or very rarely) which is fine except he is not great at the edges of rooms!!

His ex-wife insists he is completely inept about the house and he isn't capable of doing anything - I told it was her own stupid fault for letting him get away with it and maybe my life would be a bit easier if she had started him off for me :rotfl:

Just spoke to my MIL on the phone. As the doctor sent me home from work her first concern was...

How am I going to cook him his dinner tonight!!!

You should have said "I'm not I'm sending him round to you!"

My Nan was worried that when my mum and dad got married she wasn't feeding him well enough, which if you'd met my family is hilarious! My nan is as thin as a rake and hardly eats anything, we used to go round to hers for tea on a saturday and then we'd still have our usual tea when we got home!

Oh and MFD You don't need to defend yourself! If I didn't need a bouble I would have gone for the £700 bugaboo chameleon :o
am I right in thinking the stokke has a magic way of dealing with stairs?

I haven't heard of this Stokke. Am going to go peek at the kiddicare website. I hope you aren't leading me astray here to a fancy cool pushchair I'm going to want to buy!!!

Noooooo! Seriously?!?! My MIL and FIL would give DH a horrible time if they thought for a minute I was up doing cooking and cleaning when I wasn't feeling well. If anything, I've had to tell DH on a number of occasions "I'm pregnant, not dying. I can do it."
