Complete opposite here - I don't cook so I don't eat if OH doesn't cook! I would do tinned spag bol and toast and that's about my limit. I had a pampered childhood and my dad did all the cooking in our house too :)

Same with me! I just can't find any inspiration when I look in the fridge but DH has the magic touch - despite me having a GCSE in Home Economics :rotfl::rotfl:

  • I will admit to most of the cooking in the MFD household but that is more because I love cooking and generally hate anything pre-prepared and most of hubbys meals include a jar of something...
Usually, if I am working late DH will at least have the sense to order a take away and wouldn't expect me to cook if he hasn't bothered - if I came in and he was in a grump because he was waiting for me to cook I would be dutiful and cook something lovely...before throwing it at him :rotfl:

I'm a Stephanie and have always liked having an unusual name...especially since I married into the most common surname there is - my mother was gutted  :D

Not had time to read through - have guests :)

Saw doc - doc tested everything I can think off... then sent me home and called the neurological specialist and the optical special person before calling me back at 8:45 (bless him!) to say they're all fairly happy that it's nothing that ANY of them can assign to any one condition etc - I have to call the eye clinic tomorrow morning to speak to them and if it happens again regardless I am to call them immediately but there is no condition that any of them feel it can be attributed to and baby is fine :)

Will be back later to catch up properly...

Thank you ALL ladies for being there earlier during the panic attack :)

I took GCSE Home Ecomomics, and got an A*! My teacher said, when I gave in my coursework, that 'it was the best piece of work she'd had the honour of marking'.

I can cook, I just can't focus on anything long enough to not burn things!

OH cooking is one of the reasons I'm a housewife! He makes a great beans or egg on toast, but he doesn't like cooking. I'm rubbish at it, but he is brilliant at smiling and saying yum through gritted teeth while attempting to chew a very burnt sausage.

Wow. If my Oh doesn;t like something he refuses to eat it. I do worry this will rub off on our child.

bubs is jumping around lots today, which is no different from any other day to be honest.

i am completely knackered as i have been working sooooo much but not going in early tomorrow. one of the partners told me i am not allowed to work so much, so i think i might TRY and listen.

AF - Curiously Cinnamon (previously Cinnamon Grahams, even more previously Cinnamon Toast Crunch) was a staple of my childhood! Always used to sit on the sofa watching TV with my Mum, eating it out of the box. Its wonderful! It is nice will milk too.

Well done on not going in early, enjoy a lie in!
