hmmmmmmm.............i remember big red chewing gum from back home.

when i went back in april i bought some cinnamon flavoured mints (alhough no mint taste at all) back with me. still have one tin left.

    i love cinnamon.

i remember eating at a mexican restaurant in america when i was seven and the dessert had a cinnamon covered tortilla (cooked like a corn chip, but not corn and of course not salty if that makes sense  ).

off to sleep ladies, i'm knackered :D
  • Thanks for that Sami - I spent the whole of my childhood wearing a locket which said I was allergic and TBH I shudder at the thought of having to wear something again :o

I think I will rely on myself, my notes and my husband to speak up (famous last words???)

I have booked into the Water Birthing Course at the hospital :T Hubby is a complete convert (I think it might have been the bit where the MW told us that babies born in the pool are really calm babies that tend to stay calm!!)

SB - you are encouraged to eat to keep your strength up here (you are not allowed to sit down in Wolverhampton so I guess you can get pretty tired ;):D )

In America they do cinnamint toothpaste - my SIL loves it!! Anyone who goes over has to bring some back for her.

I used to love those doughnuts - they looked like you had dropped them in the sand but they were de-lish!!

I've never had anything to show I'm allergic before but I've got really paranoid that some thing will happen to me when I'm alone:o god knows what I'll be like when it comes close to my EDD I'll be thinking every twinge is labour and calling hubby!:p

I was put of a water birth by the possibility of a pooh shark :o:rotfl:

Sounds like someone was a spoilt child :p
My OH refuses to make his side of the bed (we have separate duvets - yes weird I know!) I got fed up the other day and brought it up and his answer was "I've never had to make my bed, my mum always did it and I think you should do it now" :rotfl:
I told him there was a reason he married ME and not his mother!
    :rotfl: :T

I love that! Men are sooo ridiculous at times! My OH puts his socks into the wash all balled up like he takes them off. I talked ot him abotu it, he still does it, so I wash them like that and put them out to dry as little balls :rotfl: Serves him right if they go mouldy and horrible.

At least if I poo in the water it will float away gently - if I poo whilst kneeling on all fours then I will indeed have lost every scrap of dignity that I never had :rotfl:
