Morning girls.
Good luck with the drive Tine.
Just been reading about names, I absolutely hated my name when i was growing up, Carmelle (silent e on the end ) now i dont mind it so much.
Well I'm finally off out today to grab myself some maternity clothes, cant bloody wait, plus i got to get my mum a bday pressie, and go round there this morning and try to dig out an old photo of her without her realising so I can get her one of them photo cakes for Sat night.
Oh and get DS some school shoes, but i might leave that till sat so i can get him measured, oh dear god what a hard life :rotfl::j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

AF - I am in work early this morning so you can have my lie inI got in at 7.30am...can't believe I used to come in this early every morning!! In fact 7.30am used to be a late day at one time  I can't believe how dark it is, 9am starts are much more civilised
Bubba had hiccoughs when I got into bed last night - it was SO cute...
Hmmmm... and you told me off for coming in at that time
I did enjoy my extra half hour in bed though.
What does it feel like when bubs has hiccups????
Bubs for the me other night felt like he was standing up, his feet at the lower part of my stomach and jumping up and down. I have a very active one I think0 -

Happy shopping AM.
I am NOT a good shopper when it is for things for me, but I love shopping for gifts for other people0 -
Thats even more rubbish then - it's not like they'd have to transfer you across town if there were any complications! Seems a bit silly when you've had two uncomplicated 'normal' births since c/s!
Can you argue? Or speak to a nicer midwife about it?
I spoke directly to the consultant about it - any referral would have to be made to him for approval, so I thought I'd speak straight to him as we were just chatting about stuff anyway and he seemed in a good mood:rolleyes:
I might consider Cheltenham - see if they'll let me use midwife unit - I believe they are basically next to each other and transfer time is not an issue - whereas Gloucester say 5 mins to tfr you between departments (paperwork? - can't see any other reason why it would take so long - but I think the 2 at Glos are treated separately, whereas at Chelt they are lumped more together)

I only come in early occasionally - and I will leave early to make up for it
I thought Bubba was just playing a game of 'annoy mummy whilst she is trying to sleep' but it was like rythmical 'jerks' or touches down where his head is. Got hubby to hold him and he still didn't stop - that's when we realised it was hiccoughsIt was cute for the first 20 minutes, then worrying (will he ever stop...?) then annoying (will he EVER stop!!!)
Lets hope for your sake bubs doesn't have his feet down...he needs to be getting used to a head down position now (Bubba hasn't turned over for weeks now)please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Argh, Aimee used to get hiccups all the time... Irritated the life out of me!!! Not looking forward to those again!
Oh, and at my scan the other day baby was bum down... Which I knew because it only ever kicks down... But I'm getting worried now that it won't turn... It is always bum down, never kicks high up.... even when I spent half an hour hanging upside down off the edge of the sofa...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Morning,
Advice please...
I noticed this morning that my bump is darker than the rest of me (22wks) it seems that there is a line across my belly about belly button height and everything under this is much darker. Was itching a bit last night too although i did have tights on all day so think that was just the seam lines!
Is this normal?? googled it with no joy:j
