  • Just as we're thinking of ttc - hubby has cold feet. All of a sudden he's gone from talking about it, to going completely silent any time the word 'baby' is mentioned by anyone - even ppl on tv!!! Hmmm.
Anyone experienced this and know how to address it?? He's been the one who has been more excited about the thought recently than me!!!
  • i had clots much bigger than that on thursday, so yes, it can happen

i wasnt trying to scare anyone though, sorry :(

I meant the actual embryo passing, given that the whole contents of the sack isn't even that size yet. I was trying to word it more sensitively, didn't want anyone panicking thinking the baby would be lost like that as m/c can be traumatic enough without worrying about the finer details. I lost 2 early on and thankfully never passed a number of golf ball sized anythings, i would be terrified if i had as they had already exlained to me what should happen (and thats not it). Sorry you've had to deal with that ((hugs)) hopes things are getting better?

Going back to catch up now....

cheeky - he might just be a bit nervous thinking about it - after all, there's a big difference between talking about it and actually starting on trying to have a baby! I know while I was pregnant with DS2, DH was saying "this should be the last one" but 6 months later he was saying "let's have one more." They just need time to process everything, I think.

  • I agree about the cats thing.. i always loved my cats dearly and could never even consider booting them out the house. We once had neighbours that made their cats and dogs sleep and live outside, it was really disturbing. I think it's fine to keep them out of baby's room, but the poor things still need a comfy home!!
  • Caught up now (although prob missed loads as usual). Caz hope you're feeling ok and manage to get abit closer to your due date.

Gosh all this talk of food has gotten me hungry again! Chuffed i've managed to last the day without sleeping, hope it continues... Busy day tomorrow so won't be on, hope everyone + bumps have a good one :)

    morning ladies,

elle - i remember early on when i was pregnant that i would often forget. doesn't happen to me now though as i keep getting kicked from here to goodness knows where.

sami - i have been thinking about getting a charm bracelet since you mentioned them a while back. growing up, i always remember my mum's.

hoping to make a good start here at work this morning so i do not end up in the state i was when hubby picked me up last night.

oh, must ring the MW for my 32 week appointment... they are now getting to the 2 week appointment mark (where did all that time go).

i have got my appointment through for antenatal classes (NHS) up at the hosptial. can anyone give me a heads up of what they are like? i like to know in advance what i am getting into.

caz - hope you got some sleep. thinking of you love.
    xxxx

Had tummy upset last night & very little sleep.

Was supposed to go back to work today after a month off (sick note) but have had to call in sick.

My bump hurts so much as well.

I have the mw today at 3 though.

    Got my bloods done yesterday.

    Hope everyone is well

    hi angela,

just let me check my ebay account to see what the name of the one i bought was ....

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/hypnobirthing-book-CD_W0QQitemZ280301962873QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Baby_BabyBooks_RL?hash=item280301962873&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

sorry not sure how to shorten the link

this is the one i bought, but i got it brand new, but this one looks a good deal.

i have been reading snipets of the book as i am not going for the 'full' hypnobirthing, just wanting to use it as a relaxation technique and to help me understand what my body is doing and for me to not to work against it (thus causing additional pain).

    HTH.

    xxx
