Hello!
Just discovered this thread!
Its long, do I need to read this thread at all?!
I am pg with my 3rd. Due in April.
Have 9 year old DD & 6 year old DS. DS is 7 in April.
Anything else I need to tell?!
Good luck all with your babies

Skinty - so glad your scan went well and you got to see your baby  I know how you must have been feeling I was the same at our 12 week scan the nerves of not knowing if you are gonna get a blank screen. (which is exactly what happened at our 12 week scan when we had our missed m/c) Hopefully now you can be a bit more relaxed x
sls - When i had a fall at the beg of Dec I spoke to NHS direct and to a midwife down at the maternity ward they both said that if i had felt baby move and had no pain or bleeding then all would be ok the baby would be well cushioned and seemed more concerned that i hadn't fainted which was reassuring.:heart2: Proud mummy to Ryan born 14.2.09 :heart2:0 -

I found MC to be quite pricey when it came to crib/moses basket sheets. I think Matalan was the best I had come across price wise, but they aren't shown on their website and you can only buy instore  I think it was £5 for 3 sheets or something similar.
What about ebay? Though i never seem to find the bargins others do.
As for comps, I know LouBlue and Gebe (from the BB thread) are great compers. I have started but then something has always happened and I have never given it the proper attention.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Fingers crossed Bumblebee!
SammiBee - those slings looked great - may be worth looking into for the twins! Thanks!
MrsMorton - you obviously have a vast amoutn of experience if you are on your third pregnancy! The ladies here support each other in pregnancy advice, things to buy for baby, what they are watching on tv...and just generally supporting each other! The thread makes an interesting read but you will get to see everyone's personalities come through! Enjoy!Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T0 -
Just rang midwife and she thinks as I have no bleeding and am still feeling movement everything is ok. I have an appointment at the hospital on Thursday and she is happy to scan me then if it would put my mind at rest. She just said to call back if circumstances change. Not sure I am happy with that though??0

Right - a question for the 'old timers' - it may be a bit TMI too, apologies in advance
I am now 32+4 and so far all Bubba's movements have been confined to my bump area IYSWIM.
However, for the last few days it has felt like he is a lot lower down and he is having a poke around my nether regions. I don't really know how to explain it....sometimes if feels like he is pressing something (I don't think it is my bladder) that releases a bit of discharge and other times it is just like he is fiddling and I can feel it in the top of my foof
I guess it is all normal?
Does anybody have a clue what I am waffling about? Is it normal? And does it mean that Bubba is on the move?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Sorry slscarborough - did I miss something? Has it progressed? Do you have pains or bleeding?

MW has been, managed to do a sweep and says I'm already 2cm dilated! Sounds like I've got a head start there. Now I need to spend today having a rest, as I didn't manage much sleep last night, and if baby does decide to come along later today I will be too tired to push. Have to say having the sweep was not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it's a means to an end, and I suppose I've got worse to put up with yet
I feel the need for more breakfast first though! I know we were talking about having second breakfast earlier in the week, but I think this technically works out as breakfast number 3, as after being awake for 2 hours in the night, my tummy decided it was breakfast time at 3am this morning, and I had to get up for some toast then before I could go back to sleep! Then I had breakfast as normal this morning when DH went to work, and now I'm hungry AGAIN. My body is obviously trying to get it's strength up.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
