I've heard that before sami... And I've never thought they look as comfortable facing forward as they do snuggled into you...

the info this company gives has really increased my interest esp as they say that putting bubs in the legs open position is good for hips, I hadn't thought about that part of it until then but should be good for us as we have history of hip dysplasia, my sis had to wear 2 terry nappies to keep her hips in place when she was little. Chris had his hips scanned at a few weeks for this reason and they were A OK :D

Someone asked me if Aimee was in Terries because of her hips... and if they have them set they're always in the splayed position aren't they.... A friend of mine has a sling in that style, I might see if she'll lend it me to have a go when baby's here... I'm torn now... But still leaning towards the hawk and it's XL straps lol...

i think my sis was really lucky coz they spotted it as soon as she was born, there was a girl the yr below me at school who was only diagnosed when she was about 6 she had to have a big op and had her legs in plaster with a bar between her knees for weeks and she has the worst limp ever still coz one of her legs is about 3" shorter than the other
You would never know there had been anything wrong with my sis she looks totally normal now (she isn't normal tho she's bonkers like me :))

I was at school with a girl who had scars running up and down her legs and had to wear built up shoes etc... Probably the same thing...

Anyway... Hubby's singing stooopid words to songs I like so looks like it's my cue to go to bed!

(incidentally, funny moment I can't tell anyone else... He was getting changed out of work clothes the other night and I turned sideways and said 'do I look more pregnant today?' His reply 'I dunno, do I look more manly today?' turned round and got more than an eyeful of manly parts... He's such a joy!)

Wow can't believe i'm still hanging in there with my 2008 date!!
I just wanted to say thanks for all your induction stories, I feel a lot less stressed about it now since hearin some positive experiences. :T
I had a check at the hospital today and baby is fine so thats the main thing, although i haven't progressed any so looks like I probably will be induced still.

Also just wanted to say Congratulaions Sooz. :D
  • looks like im not going to be in preg club for much longer :( have got heavy bleeding and have passed several large clots :( have been in touch with epu, and they have basically just said i have to wait it out, and if it gets too bad to go to a&e, which is impossible as neither me or OH drive and we have a 2 yr old
  • After some advise - I fell on the ice this morning while carrying my 2 year old to the car. I am 27 weeks and despite grazing my elbow and bruising my bum I think I am ok. I have felt baby move and there is no bleeding. Do you still think I should see the doctor/midwife?
