Ooh I love grapes too.. Can eat a bag in one sitting... Aimee loves them too...

And completely agree about room sizes in new build Sami... I'd love to move to a 3bed but all the ones I've seen are no bigger in square footage than my 2 bed... Aimee and I both have room for king size beds... Although her space is taken up by far too many toys!

oh no sami not a new build older houses are fab!! even though we have done a lot and still have more to do i dont think i could live in a plasterboard box, i live for high roofs, thick walls, wooden floors thats what makes a real house:D we have found pics of our house in the victorian times and its amazing as it hasnt really changed that much!

oh haven't told you lot about my day!
After all my tidying so we didn't look like tramps when the workmen came, only 1 workman came to discover it's a 2 man job  Well we could have told them that weeks ago and wasn't that the point of them sending someone round before Chrimbo to do a "survey" so off he toddled and we need to re-arrange for another date. so no insulation for me!
and then I completely forgot to call the jobcentre so will have to call them in the morning, I'll be so mad if they say I can't go in to sign early coz I'm going into town for my scan in the morning so don't want to come home and go back again, paying for 2 lots of parking just to say, yes I looked in all the papers and checked the internet, look I can write my name, byee!
but did get lots of Charlie n Lola invites, paper plates, cups, napkins etc for chris's b-day party :T

  • We're in a 2 bed flat, and we're both squirrels, so we've had to be quite ruthless clearing out all the stuff we don't need. Spare room has sort of been turned into nursery now, but is still buried under other things, but as baby will be in our room to start with, we still have time to un-bury it!

Caz - I have to put out a portion, and leave the rest in the kitchen, otherwise I eat through them whilst doing something else, without looking what I'm doing, and then discover it's all gone!

Reflexology lady has just been - £25 to try and get things started is worth a try (and it was very relaxing if nothing else!) Midwife coming tomorrow to try again doing a sweep, and then we shall see what happens.

Do they make you tell them what you've done towards getting a job Sami? When I was signing on when I was first pregnant with Aimee they basically told me they weren't bothered whether I looked for a job or not seeing as I was pregnant... I ended up getting the Dr to sign me on the sick though just to save going and signing on with the great unwashed...

Well hubby just approved the sling and agreed on the extra long straps lol... Although I have read online that the regular ones will do up over a size 22/24, think I'd got for the xl just to be sure... Oh and you tie the waist bit arounnd you first so there's no space for the baby to drop out of the bottom when you put it in...
Was looking on ebay at slings and there are some very similar ones in the ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/babyroo-slings-and-carriers
just for anyone who's interested :D
I am looking at less fancy ones like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=150318734491
but not much price diff so might go for the pretty one in the end

yeah, only coz they can't be arsssed to read my job seeking diary tho
I'm only signing on as if I do I should get MA otherwise I wouldn't be entitled to anything, I've not really been looking for a job as temp is always too short term to get a childminder and I didn't want to lie in interviews to get perm only to go off on maternity and not go back after, I don't think it would be fair coz I know that unless they were paying me double what the going rate is I couldn't afford to pay childminder for 2 kids. not that I'm particulary botherd I've always been a homemaker at heart, careers just don't interest me!

A friend of mine has a mobi, her baby always looks so cosy in it... And drops straight off to sleep lol... I still think I'll get the hawk from America... For the couple of pounds saved you can have it in whatever colour and pattern you like...
