    Hi 3

I had a c/s in 2006 and am expecting #2 in July. My MW said at the time that more than 75% who have a c/s go on to have a natural birth (VBAC) next time around, so I think he's got this the wrong way around!

As I understand the main risk of rupture is if you're induced - something to do with the

I had c/s in Dec1997, and VBACs in Apr 2000 and Jan 2006 - in fact consultant refused to entertain the idea of me having another cs for number 2. Think it depends why you have cs - I had fully dilated with DD but had no pushing sensation and she was a frank breech (folded in half) with bottom coming down - she got stuck and they let me push for over 2 hours before I had my cs (she wasn't in distress, but I was kn**ckered!)

AM my cousins little boy was like that and it turned out that he was very clever and he was bored, the more bored he got the worse he got. they put him on fish oils and some other vitamin and he got a support teacher in. i think he is doing work at 2 years above his level now and is very clever.

my charlie is a nightmare he wrecks everything, will not sit for a min and is on the go until he is put into bed, hospital even asked me if he had something wrong with him when he was ill???? was thinking about starting him on the fish oils etc and see if it makes a difference??? anything is worth a go!!

oh skinty thats a really good pic am so happy for you:D xx

Thats what I think is the problem, because he can concentrate on things that interst him, such as the cbeebies website  :rotfl: He has even figured out how to swtich on the computer and get onto the website all on his own, as I found out this morning, the little git got up and sneaked downstairs while i was still sleeping!
I might give the fish oils a go, a try not to give him foods with lots of addetives in, but sometimes it is difficult especially when he goes to mums.

Nope, don't like them at all!!

This is a bit more what I want, but is still a bit faffy:

This is nice but the wrong colour:

I might just stick him in a suitcase on the floor :o

I can't get a cot down the side of the bed, so thought a moses basket was a good idea.
How about a nice plain crib then? not much diff in price anyway.
My friend got hers for £30 off kiddicare

I think a crib might be the way to go. It'd be easy to move wouldn't it? Need it on a different side every night!

Don't think OH would like to move the whole bed and a cot every night, just so we can swap sides each night.

    I need a bigger house!

i will try to find out what the other vits are that she gives him but its crazy the difference in him! a lot of the time kids are bored and the teachers dont have enough time to spend on each child, so they get left to get on with it. hope things go well tom!! im the same with this lot i try to cook good food but they are kids and obviously have to have treats and things:D

oh i have just been offered a cot so will just need to find a new matress!! that will save me a bit:D

If you get one that doesn't swing it will be very easy to move! the swinging ones are a bit more work but will be fine if you've had normal birth, if a c section I'd think it would be too much HTH xx

AM - is Aston sounds just like me as a child! I was/am quite bright but very impulsive and stubborn, I had no problem doing the work but got bored easily and if I didn't want to do the work then I didn't! my poor mum I put her through hell! I think it was worse because she worked at my primary school so little stuff that normally wouldn't be passed on to the parent did get to her as she was physically there to see it. She didn't let me see the educational psychologist as she didn't think I needed it and knew it would be on my record permanently but I actually think things may have been easier for me if she'd let me access the help offered (never told her that tho!)

r.mac the only thing I no about clary sage is that I saw someone have the oil rubbed in their back during labour on a birth prog, prob be some info on babycentre tho (if u search hard enough I'm sure you could find the meaning of life on there!)

Mooki - hopefully you have a nice friend who will give u their old moses basket like me :T
Trust me people never stop giving you stuff for baby! Chris has 3 of most things  1 at home, 1 at Nonna's and 1 at Grandmas!
Did you find finding the heartbeat easy? I'm considering a dopler as I've saved nearly £1k for baby but have nothing to spend it on as it's 2nd child  and to think I had to scrape money together for Chris's stuff
