Another question!

Where is a good place to look for baby things?

I'm trying to find a moses basket, but I can't find one I like. I want a very plain and boring white or blue one. All I've found are far too faffy, frilly or have dangly bits on!

I had a c/s in 2006 and am expecting #2 in July. My MW said at the time that more than 75% who have a c/s go on to have a natural birth (VBAC) next time around, so I think he's got this the wrong way around!

As I understand the main risk of rupture is if you're induced - something to do with the hormones? I'm waiting to see the consultant too. Meant to be at 16 weeks but I'm nearly 14 already and no appointment yet :rolleyes:

I can't get a cot down the side of the bed, so thought a moses basket was a good idea.

congratulations Sooz - that's brilliant news

Feely - I got mine from John Lewis (my favourite shop!) I like plainer things too and I liked their options.

What a day it's been - I've been out pretty much all day as took car for its MOT, which is failed :eek: we weren't expecting that, but that's life I suppose. The garage was really nice though and fed me cups of tea and I played the pg lady about to go into labour card meaning that they rush ordered the car parts from a supplier and fitted them then and there for me at no extra cost

Then I went and bought all my pg/birth bits from boots, so shouldn't have any more unprepared waters breaking panic dreams

Gas and air being delivered by the fire brigade tomorrow so that'll be the highlight of the week

Also - does anyone know about using clary sage essential oil in the bath to encourage labour??????
