Oh I need to know NOW what flavour mine is I proper can't wait for the 20 week scan. I have one little boy and do not mind which it is - a girl would be nice to complete the set but a boy would be nice to be a little friend to Xander. However I need to know as I have a loft FULL of boys clothes that I can pass on if it's a pink one!!!
I had a gender scan done privately at 17 weeks because I'm so impatient! It was an expensive one, because I wanted the whole thing on DVD, but the other place I used does gender scans for £50. I just HAD to know!
I've booked my 4D scan for the 17th! All excited!!
Midwife went well, she didn't measure me though. I asked if I was too big, and she said some women are huge, others aren't. As long as she isn't worried! Heard the heart beat again, lovely noise. Got another appointment at 28 weeks for the anti-D, and can get the Health in Pregnancy form then.
She was a bit concerned about my blurry vision, but as blood pressure and urine is fine, she said to just keep an eye on it. Its only one eye which is blurry.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Glad it went well feelie and I'm the same as you Sami, my eyes only go blurry because I never clean my glasses properly...
We're not finding out what we're having either... Despite hubbies constant nagging on the subject... He's desperate to know... I'm not... In fact in a way I can't wait to get the scan out of the way so he can stop going on about it...
Just walked down the school and back... It nearly killed me... And I nearly killed someone, they asked me how long I've got left and I said 4 months, they looked at my belly and said 'Oh, did you carry big last time?'
Yeah... thanks for that!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Krystaltips - I can't believe someone said that to you!!! No judge would've convicted you if you'd thumped 'em! :rotfl: Put it down to hormones! DH wanted to know last time with DS, but 3 scans and while they thought he was a boy, they weren't certain. So we were a bit up in the air until the birth, but leaning towards boy. This time he'll want to know again, I'm sure. I'm fine either way, I don't mind knowing ahead of time. So we'll go ahead and ask at the 20wk scan. But DH is terrible at keeping anything secret from me (he has a horrible time when he buys birthday or Christmas presents for me as he just has such a time not telling me what he got for me! :rotfl: ), so rather than have them tell him and have him not tell me, we'll both see.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

My hubby went on and on about knowing. I didn't want to know, but at the scan I let the sonographer tell him. I had no plans on letting him find out becuase I thought he was only winding me up but when I told the sonographer we didn't want to know, his poor face, so I let him find out. He has kept it to himself (although I think there might have a been a bit of slip at the weekend but he swears not). He has known since the end of Oct now.

Tell them to 'f e c k off'. See I can say that becuase I would never actually have the nerve to say it myself but think people should
Yeah... thanks for that!
i cannot believe how quickly today has gone!!!!! :mad:0 -
Think we're married to the same man Triggles lol.. I get presents early because hubby just can't keep it to himself... He asked if he could find out and not tell me but there's no way he'd be able to keep that secret for 4 months!

I will definately get that Graco travel cot from kiddicare, I just hope they have some left on Monday, although they seem to have a lot left at the moment. I have also been looking at a Baby bjorn synergy carrier.....they are very pricey but seem to get excellent reviews everwhere I look. Has anyone used one??
