Mel, my step sister had a baby bjorn (don't know what make) and her baby was a bit meaty, it just fell of her one day with no warning! I had a tomy freestyle but found it hurt my back after a while... I'd like to try one of the big material slings that are about at the moment...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Krystal - I have been looking at the ones that are like two circles of material that you put over your body in a cross (does that make any sense) but I didn't want to buy anything until I can try it on with Bubba and see how it works for us.

Krystal I was dead set on finding out last time and got my way, and felt the same this time but after so many people knowing before they arrived and hubby still saying he didn't want to know (said that last time but I bullied him the poor thing!)
I decided to be different and have a surprise much to the confuddlement of most of my family who "don't see the point" well I don't see their point :p

I don't know if its coz I'm a bit slight but I couldn't stand the baby carrier we had it dug in to my shoulder blades and boobs, I had a sling that was comfier but chris didn't like it as he'd had a few months of being carried by me

    Hi guys
glad to 'hear' you're all well as can be. Congrats Sooz!!!

    MOAN ALERT ;)

Well Im laid up at the mo, had a pain in my side Sat, felt a bit like a kidney infection but went home early and was fine Sunday morning. Saw another MW on Monday measured 21cms and was 21weeks so that was all ok, babys heartbeat nice and fast 160bpm but a trace of protein in my urine which she said wasnt anything.

She wasnt as good as the other two mw's ive seen, she didnt even call names in the waiting room which meant the first woman she nodded in was meant to be after me and I was just waiting then for an extra half hour  .

Anyway, *deep breath* pain came again late Tues night and got worse through Weds, called docs who said cant see you call mw, called her and she said ring them back to say i need a urine test and antibiotics. Lovely doc saw me and was sooo surprised at my urine dip test cos it in her words wnt 'barbie pink and multi-coloured so def a full blown infection'. am now on co-amoxiclav but have been up all night in soo much pain!!

Feel bad missing work as im in sales so 'got to be in it to win it' but Im gonna work Sat which I was rota'd off for and just have my normal sun and mon off.

Rant over, thanks for 'listening' xxx

I think I'm going to have to get one of these... A friend had one for her LO and thought it was the best thing ever... It also looked really easy watching her put it on... And you can design your own!!!

Krystaltips - oh, I like that!! Only fear I would have is me dropping the baby out of the bottom on the newborn front carry! Other than that, I see it's just $5 more for extra long straps, so us larger mums can use it comfortably. Thanks for posting that link.

  • Congratulations Sooz :)

And Candice, how rubbish! At least you have the tablets now - take care of you.

I was having a lovely afternoon nap when I was woken up by the people upstairs having a right old barney! I could hear every word - had to get up and put some music on to drown it out, as I'm really not interested. If this baby learns swear words I will blame them upstairs for it ;)

    Morning all
What bouncy chair do you have or are you getting?

Good luck to all with scans etc.

ours arrived today! It's a present from SIL. It's an old fashioned, no fancy bitss bouncy chair, which is what I wanted, but found very hard to find  It's from mothercare and cost £12.99.
