Has anyone mentioned that theres a 1/3rd off baby things at sainsburys from today?

Nappies, wipes. toiletries, bottles, sterilisers etc but as far as I can tell not clothes

just back and got lots and lots of wipes:D cleared the shelf of huggies and pampers x 4 packs which were£3.33!!, got breast pads, sudecrem, bepanthen, infacol, talc, baby bath, shampoo etc etc etc!!! so hopefully will have enough that will last for a few months:j also picked up a few packs of nappies for my little sis so that will keep her happy. so apart from new nighties and knickers i think i may be half organised????

Caz that sounds like me when the morrisons offer was on! I've not started on the 3 boxes of 9 packs of huggies wipes yet but I'm nearly done with the Mega box of pampers I got for Chris :rotfl:

That's a shame Sami! Is it width or length? Although really, I don't think you could add material to them unless you got matching and I don't fancy the chances of that much...

I have done the sum total of vaccuuming 1 corner of the lounge and put 6 glasses in the dishwasher... Hmm... Busy day... Not!

Well, something was happening after all ;), and I now have a daughter :D

She arrived early on Tuesday morning, about half an hour after getting into the birth centre. I did get my water birth, just....good job we asked them to fill the pool when we called.

7lb 3oz, totally beautiful, & in no way late, she was still covered all over in vernix. I had 2 dates up on the list here for ages, one was my original one, & the second moved early by a week after the first scan. The scan date must have been wrong....so worked me up into a complete state for nothing!

Amazing birth, wonderful wonderful midwife, & only a tiny tear & no stitches! Felt awful yesterday as I'd had no sleep for 2 days, but after a whole 3 hours last night I feel (almost) human again.

Off to put some make up on & go on the school run! Just need to tie these HUGE boobs down...... milk has arrived, and each boob is about 5 times the size of her head.

    WOOHOO!!! Sooz!!! :D

    Congratulations honey!
  • Little Pickle - that is exactly the reason I wanted to find out what flavour Bubba was. Everyone around me seemed to want me to have a girl and I just think I knew deep down that he was a boy.

I just thought that if the whole family kept going on like that for the whole pregnancy and I didn't have a girl I might struggle with bonding because I could see the baby as a 'disappointment' IYSWIM.

Now everybody knows he is blue and he's gorgeous I can relax :rotfl:

BTW - we agreed to call Bubba a 'he' before we found out, just because I am too lazy to keep saying he or she and I didn't like 'it'!!
