I am going to enjoy my day off work with both my kids. Didnt take DS2 to the childminders and DS1 has a migraine so is not at school.
Sounds like fun. I'm sure you will be fine, just take it easy.
It's easy to be objective when you are just looking at the words on the screen, it's not so easy when your homones are playing you up. First time I fell I went home, got into bed and refused to move (even to go to the toilet) for about 6 hours.
Take care.

Ladybird - yippeeee that sounds really positive honey. I'm thinking of you.
MFD - those feelings are normal. It's almost like baby is shaking it's head down there! I think this is where our pelvic floor muscles come into play - occassionally baby will move (at the moment baby likes to 'stretch' pushing feet out my side at the same time as pushing it's bum out the top and head down below!) and when that happens I have to go to the bathroom NOW! - that's somehting for you to look forward to
I'm having slight - periody pains today so taking it slow, browsing mse on the sofa
Also have a funny story for you all (now be kind). I bought a birthing ball from Argos for all of £4.99. But our bicycle pump didn't fit it - nor did the pump for the birth pool, nor the petrol station pump - even my dad's compressor didn't have a small enough attachment. Soooo I took it back to swap it for another type/brand. Turns out none of us (me, hubby, garage owner or my dad) had realised that there was a plug already in the hole - hence why it was so small and couldn't be blown up:o :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: So took it home again and the birth pool pump blew it up beautifully :T I've been having fun bouncing around on it:pr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Good morning all (yes, I know it's closer to afternoon - I HAVE been awake awhile - just relaxing and resting some). I had a happy little browse through the Lakeland catalogue that arrived in the post this morning - dangerous thing! And we had a little listen to the baby's heartbeat with the doppler - it's very reassuring. Won £10 on the tombola free game, so am playing with it, hoping to win big, but at the very least having fun with it.
Ladybird - labour vibes!!! How exciting - sounds like things are getting started!!!! :jMSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

Well that just tripped me up - I read that as "fireman with no uniform" and my mind just jolted - naked? :rotfl: Maybe a HB wouldn't be so bad after all....:DMSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

The Sun have used the name 'Rosie' when it should have been 'Sophie'.
Do you think we should ask for jobs and proof editors???0 -

Hmmm - never been interested before but all of a sudden a home birth sounds rather attractive
Although, having said that do I really want all the handsome firemen to see me doing my 'football under my jumper' impression :rotfl:
McSmiler - how does it feel now you will definitely be meeting your baby within a month (even if you go over?) :T :Tplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
