oh the kicking your foof (i love that word LOL) is completely normal, a bit uncomfy, but completely normal hunMy_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Right - a question for the 'old timers' - it may be a bit TMI too, apologies in advance
I am now 32+4 and so far all Bubba's movements have been confined to my bump area IYSWIM.
However, for the last few days it has felt like he is a lot lower down and he is having a poke around my nether regions. I don't really know how to explain it....sometimes if feels like he is pressing something (I don't think it is my bladder) that releases a bit of discharge and other times it is just like he is fiddling and I can feel it in the top of my foof
I guess it is all normal?
Does anybody have a clue what I am waffling about? Is it normal? And does it mean that Bubba is on the move?

oooo sounds like youre on your way!!! definately eat if you want to, youre going to need all the energy you can get hun xladybirdintheuk wrote: »MW has been, managed to do a sweep and says I'm already 2cm dilated! Sounds like I've got a head start there. Now I need to spend today having a rest, as I didn't manage much sleep last night, and if baby does decide to come along later today I will be too tired to push. Have to say having the sweep was not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it's a means to an end, and I suppose I've got worse to put up with yet
I feel the need for more breakfast first though! I know we were talking about having second breakfast earlier in the week, but I think this technically works out as breakfast number 3, as after being awake for 2 hours in the night, my tummy decided it was breakfast time at 3am this morning, and I had to get up for some toast then before I could go back to sleep! Then I had breakfast as normal this morning when DH went to work, and now I'm hungry AGAIN. My body is obviously trying to get it's strength up.0 -
Thanks bumble - thought so...was just hoping it wasn't a sign that he was making an appearance anytime soon.
Yay - all the ladies behind me in the baby queue won't have to ask embarrassing questions about the baby fiddling with your foof :T
I'm gonna have 2 more slices of toast in support ladybird
it could be a long day :rotfl: please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

I always think of that as baby headbutting me in the cervix - it's a very weird sensation isn't it! I don't think it's anything to worry about, it's just getting a bit more cramped in there now. You might find the baby is starting to engage too, I've definitely felt it more since my bump engaged. I think 34 weeks is about normal for everything to start moving down a bit

(OMG - don't mean to sound rude...but you know how easy it is to miss a post when you are reading through.)
Do you think bubs is moving head down and getting himself snug and ready for his arrival, i think i read somewhere it can happen after 30 odd weeks
