Really pleased your results were high myaccount, we're all rooting for you :)

I bought a couple of white maternity vests off ebay yesterday to wear under all my tops that seem to show far more cleavage than neccessary for a school run... I do have a white camisole which still fits in the bra area but rolls up off my belly and just sits under my bust... All very annoying!

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Had midwife appointment today and blood pressure was high again but they just said they would see me again in 3 weeks. Fundus height measured 28 and I am 27 weeks so only a week ahead. Earlier on in pregnancy I was measuring 3 weeks ahead.

Also had trace of glucose in urine - not really sure what difference that meakes though. They said if next sample is the same I will have to go for a glucose intolerance test.

Have my Anti-D Injection appointment and blood tests at hospital next week and they will check urine and blood pressure again there anyway.

sometimes if you had something sweet before you did the sample glucose is in it, but if its in there often then it's a sign of diabeties

So tired today, almost fell asleep in the bath. Looking forward to an early night, need it, got to be at the MW for 12:55pm!

Checked my notes, and tomorrow is the first time they measure the fundus. I assumed they hadn't done it yet because of the belly in the way! Its strange, belly has gone below bump, so its all wobbly at the bottom but very bump like on the top.

Random question - anyone been involved with the La Leche League?

Just wondering has anyone done any pre natal yoga?

Fancied trying it I think x
I think skintchick might of angela... Or I think she does normal yoga and just tailors it for pregnancy...

Skinty does yoga i think, a normal class but I'm sure she said her teacher tells her what is ok/not ok while preg.

Yep, this is correct. I do yoga anyway (well I took it up last time I was PG then carried on after the mc) and my teacher just tailors the poses for me. Any good teacher should do this for you.

It's great for flexibility, relaxation and being in tune with your body, all useful things for giving birth I feel! I'd recommend it - OH comes too and we both love it.

I'm soo tired today - being back at work is killing me. Bump seems to have grown in the last couple of days too, and my boobs, I'm definitely showing now.

And ... ONE MORE SLEEP TILL MY SCAN!!! :D

I haven't been on here for ages now (my little one is now 10 months old!) I hope peeps are doing well.

I just thought that I'd mention about my breast feeding chair that I still use most every night and most mornings. It's a £10 camping chair with a double duvet thrown over and a pillow behind for comfort. It's worked a treat for ages and certainly didn't cost the sort of money some of these 'proper' breast feeding chairs cost! When the little one was smaller all I needed was a pillow to prop her up to boob height and we were away. These days she doesn't need anything at all as she's getting bigger now! I hope this helps someone out there on a tight budget. x

I thought you were as far along as me and they have been measuring my fundus height since 16 weeks. Is that not the norm then?

sounds like we have matching bellies feelie lol... I find it odd that in clothes, sideways on... The bit that looks most like a baby bump is probably bowels... Its just above my belly button and I'm sure baby is still below... Ho hum...

ETA, no real involvement in La Leche league, spoke to some women who were involved with them at a conference once and they were very nice, why do you ask?

Tomorrow is my 25 week appointment, and is the first one they measure at, according to my notes. Although with second+ pregnacies, they only measure from 28 weeks. Strange how they do things differently in different areas!

Realised today that I didn't get my MRSA results back, so I assume that means I'm clean!

Was thinking about going along. My Mum was a BF Counsellor for them a long time ago, and I've read a couple of thier books. Noticed they've got BF classes for expectant Mums running in my area, so thought I might go.
